Sorry for not having your question answered...but we are not all racists. I believe the problem with society" is this illegal immigration issue....my ancestors came here in the 1920's from Italy, the legal way, as did many millions more. What your wife did, by marrying you, was not wrong. We "Legal" Americans have a problem with all the "ILLEGALS" who are coming into this country by sneaking over our borders any way they can...we, as a whole country, are not equipped to handle the influx of these people, mostly from Mexico. It is draining our system and our resources. When 12-20 million people do not pay taxes or help in building the economy and use our services, that is draining our system. Americans are tired of carrying the burden....by marrying an American, your wife should feel no guilt. Please don't call most of us racists...it is not directed personally against you or people who are in the same situation as you....I hope you are both happy and she appreciates being in this country. We are not against Europeans ....... most immigrants are from Europe and now citizens, as were my ancestors....I am against ILLEGALS SNEAKING INTO THIS COUNTRY AND USING AMERICAN TAXPAYERS TO PROSPER AND RAISE THEIR FAMILIES AND SENDING MILLIONS OF DOLLARS BACK TO MEXICO....LOOK AT THE WHOLE PICTURE OF WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE.....GOOD LUCK TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY

It is true, but often sad, that annonymity often allows people to engage in behaviors that they never would were there identity public. And, for every one oddity, like myself, who is more politie and personable from behind the shield of annonymity than IRL, there are thousands of perfectly nice people who turn into complete jerks when they get on-line.
The Poles are perhaps the prime example of thoughtless racism. They're white, so they don't enjoy the protection offered by Political Correctness, and there is a long tradition of making them the butt of jokes. That you recieved the sorts of answers you did, then, is not surprising - that doesn't excuse it, of course, but do try to keep it in context. You have a bunch of childish people, emboldened by annonymity, engaging in purile and hurtful 'humor.' The amount of actual race-based hostility behind it was probably minimal.

who's hiding? what's cowardly approximately quoting from source cloth to answer a question? If somebody asked you what's the assumption of evolution, does no longer you pass to a e book by employing the author of the assumption and quote it? after all, risk is the bloke who thought it up has expressed it far extra eloquently and punctiliously than you or i could desire to. So if somebody asks a question approximately God, we pass to God's observe and quote from his e book. basic. besides, all this black or white, good or incorrect, heaven or hell stuff is fairly uninteresting, do no longer you think of? If all and sundry in simple terms reported, confident or no, or gave a one line answer to a question, we could all be bored inflexible. plenty extra exciting to get right down to the nitty gritty and dig up an entire shed-load of arguments and toss techniques around. isn't that why we pass to this internet site? To sharpen the previous gray count? Sorry i'm no longer able to arise with judgements, even with the incontrovertible fact that. it relatively is God's prerogative, no longer yours or mines. Oh, and next time you ask a question, do no longer beat around the bush! LOL.

Why even let those remarks bother you?, The people who makes those racist remarks are the ones who need to build their own self-esteem up. As long as you know what a wonderful wife you have is that not what matters most?. Yes the Internet is full of cruel people who thrive on others feeling bad,but there are also good people too who give helpful advice. Were those remarks called for about your wife? no they were not. I firmly believe though what you do to others comes back on you, and they will get theirs sooner or later.

Plus the fact i myself have seen extreme rascist and sexist questions and comments from users which i think is pathetic as well so your not the only one i had to stop my live journal cos people called me a spoilt brat i was only 10 years of age at the time a child they don't take pitty they say mean things they let their true colours show unknown to them that they can be tracked down.

First, I wish to say I am sorry for the abuse you received on this Y!.
Secondly, you used the word "racist", which clearly is not appropriate. "Racist" usually refers to a person of different skin color, and the last I knew, Poles were white. The proper word would be "biased against"...
Most people do not know a lot about the EU. At any rate, I hope you resolve all your issues and are not subjected to any more rudeness.
For your info, some of my ancestors were Poles! and glad of it!

cyber space offers anonymity and because it does, people will say things on this forum they would never say in public or to someone's face. almost everyone does that to some degree depending on what question they are asking or answering. if you are offended, then you have two choices. grow a thicker skin, or report them. you have chosen the latter which i find to be cowardly as you have the opportunity to respond to any post you find offensive. try that next time, it is actually much more satisfying than simply reporting people.
and just so you know, what you and your wife have experienced is bigotry, not racism not that that makes you feel any better.

Well, you'll have to admit, hiding behind a cyber profile draws a lot less attention than hiding under a hood.
