LAW AND ORDER

From Adam to Noah and the flood, the world was a place where no one seemed to want law and order.
From the flood to the death of Noah, then the birth of Abraham and then he was age 75 to get the Promised Land covenant, but from 427 years after the flood to the 897 years after, the land was filled with lawless land pirates and the heirs of the Promised Land would be the only people with the law, so the
people that did not have a law and would not comply with a law had to be destroyed, God did it before the flood and with Sodom and Gomorrah, now the Promised Land heirs had to do it.
The colonies came to America in 1620, this is the last part of the world to come under law and order and we know the history to 1776 and for the past 231 years and this is amazing to know, when Christ was in the world at Rome world Empire #6, 2007 years ago.
Law and order for people to comply with has been an ongoing thing from Adam to now and we are about as close to having it as we are going to get
it, and there will always be those trying to disrupt the progress made in all the world around the earth, I am thankful for those that try to comply with Law and order for the benefit of all.
So few tried in years past [ from Adam foward ], and many try now as the last 231 years is proof of that.
All one can do is feel bad about the drastic measures that had to be applied,
and even now, the death penalty at the least and war at the most still exist as
the force to keep law and order.

Becoming a Christian has changed the way I view the world and the things that happen, I see things now that I really didn't think much about before becoming a Christian,, I see more of whats wrong with the world and understand why its wrong..before it was like "" as long as your not hurting anyone its OK w/ me,, but now I see how the actions of others really do have a long reach in hurting others and them self down the line.

All the events that are going on in Iraq. I knew about terriorism and bombings. But felt most cultures were free of malice to their own people. I also thought that most men wanted to be good to their own daughters.
But the news out of muslims countrys that we have been exposed to has been a real eye opening experience.
For the first time I understand the old testatment, and why God said for Joshua to destroy all those people because they were to violent to live.
Had the Jews done what they were told to do by God think of the years of suffereing those people would have been spared from. They are not good even to their own people.

Becoming a father.

You find yourself thinking a lot more in terms of the future, and the direction the world is headed.

You also find yourself a lot more uncomfortable with news stories or movies showing children in jeopardy.

Big things:
Becoming a Christian (Jesus is awesome; we can have true peace with God.)

Finding out the truth about abortion (Those aren't clumps of tissue in the womb. Those are little people. And we (the U.S.) kill 3000+ every day.

Getting married (Talk about a new perspective on everything! A spouse can really make you a better person.)

Getting robbed (Feelings of security in this life --even in your own house-- are just illusions.)

Having kids (Wow, kids are so cool. They really make you rethink everything you believe.)

9-11 (There are lots of people who hate us so completely and irrationally that they will blow themselves up to kill us. Being robbed was nothing compared to this.)
