my ex boyfreind recently got married and he told me that it was more business than pleasure with him and the girl that he married and i am still his freind and still talks to him but i am not sure if i like the fact that he would marry someone to stay in the country and not for love. i am not sure if there is anything wrong with that what do you think...........................................does he secretly love her..........

Dear Chanel,
People do this all the time and to me its a definite NO-NO!
Look at it this way, if you Marry someone in a "strictly business marriage to get pemanent residency arrangement"
you are in fact altering the course of that persons life forever,
and you may in fact cause them the loss of the one person whom could be and would be exactly right for them in a marriage arrangement based on love. I know it sounds serious, it is eactly that, when you consider that your whole life is the only life you will ever have and that each day that you live is gone forever, to do these sorts of things, to me is just ugly. I personally cannot do it, definitely not just to get a "landed citizen status" or permanent residency in any country, no way.
