You should be able to keep this off your driving record. Tolls aren't a criminal offense in most states since they don't want to prove who the driver is. They just fine the vehicle. In most states, it is treated like a parking ticket. They have no proof of who was driving the car, so the fine is charged to the car owner!
You can check with the jurisdiction where the offense occurred to see if they charge points to your license.
Red light cameras are designed to raise revenue, and have nothing to do with safety!!

It goes on your driving record (unless you take traffic school classes to get it wiped off) and then if your insurance company checks your driving record, they will be made aware of this and can raise premiums or drop you depending on how many tickets you have.
