YES! Have you seen Criss Angel's cat, he sits!
Train him like a dog, put the food up over his head so he will sit and there you go, repeat several times and depending on the cat, he will sit or he will think you are crazy and walk away!

Possibly. It depends upon the cat. Most cats like to eat, sleep and play, and are not necessarily prone to being coached, but stranger things have happened.
I'm not sure what the actual point would be, either, but knock yourself out!

My cat sits and gives a paw on demand.
You can tell how much she likes her food on the level of enthusiasm of the paw giving - the higher the paw, the more she wants it!
When you have something she wants, she'll do it of her own volition too. Its like having a silent conversation!

cats as a rule are their own masters and i wouldnt of thought so, i guess you can try, might take a very long time tho. saying that they're not stupid animals, mine understood me and did as she was told so i guess its possible!
