how do you get digital media that is on your computer, on to a vhs? do you need some sort of cable?

many computers have a monitor output for the video and audio from the sound card. If you can display what you want on the competer screen, you should be able to record it.

The video would be RCA connector or S connector, the audio would be stereo mini phono plug. adaptors to RCA should be available at Radio Shack. You might have to push an "F" key on the computer to activate the video out terminal.
