Skunks are nocturnal, so during the night you should bring your cat's food in. It/they won't starve by going just a few hours without food, and the skunk's just going to eat the food up from them anyway, so you might as well bring it in. Eventually if the skunk doesn't seem to find anymore food around your house, maybe it'll stop coming by and move on to another location.

We keep a cat feeding station outside for the strays, and get the occasional possum or skunk by. They don't eat much of it, and skunks are mostly vegetable eaters, so they shouldn't cause much of a problem. It's the raccoons that eat everything and make a huge mess, and who get aggressive about the food bowl if other animals come near. Those are the ones you want to discourage.

Wet food is actually better for cats. In the wild cats get most of the water they need from their food. A wet food diet provides an adequate amount of moisture, while dry food does not (this is why so many cats have kidney problems). I would suggest feeding them once in the morning and once at night to make sure they're getting enough. While I don't think keeping them outside is ideal, I'm glad you're doing everything you can to keep them safe and healthy.

You should feed your cat inside your home. Not only are you feeding skunks, but are most likely feeding other wild animals who will start to compete with your cat for it's food. Raccoons are one of the animals that is likely to eat the food as well.
Raccoons are a high risk for rabies and could infect your cat in a fight, and in turn could transmit it to you by scratching or biting you weather it's playful or aggressive.

Do you have some sort of ledge outside that is high enough so the skunk can't reach it? If so, try putting the food on the ledge and show your cat where it's new location is to avoid confusion.

Put ur cats food inside, and when the skunk comes it won't find any food and probably wont come bac. I'd probably do it 4 like 3 weeks.

Everyone has such concerns about feeding raw meat to cats and actually dry food outside, exposed to humidity and other moisture, will become "contaminated" fairly quickly.

Cats should be feed twice a day (in order to give them some times to digest that dry crap called food) and inside the house from a clean bowl.

Don't put your cat food outside. Your cat must come in some time, right?
