had some very strange dreams when I was a child. Afterwards I would go to my mother and tell her them. Sometimes I thought they would come true. But of course they never did.

Anyway, I had a strange dream the other night, that I cant make sense off. I dreamed I was at Disney Land, but I was not visiting it I was one of the characters only it was real I was really that character (not just dressed up) and it felt really bad and made me really depressed like I was stuck there and couldn't escape.

Then for some reason I just got really fed up in my dream and screamed out I want to be away from here and my dream changed and I was dreaming that I was at an air show with an Opera member whom I've never met in person. (who for some reason was my best friend in the dream)

We were watching a new jet doing all kinds of stunts. It was twirling and flipping over in the air. All of a sudden it stopped. And then it fell, straight towards me. I thought to myself that I should run away but I didn't. ( I think my friend ran away though.) The plane just came hurtling towards me faster and faster.

Just before the plane hit me I heard someone yelling out your the last of a breed then the plane hit me and as soon as it hit me I woke up.

It was strange how I didn't even feel afraid. And I don't really know why I had this dream. I didn't watch any movie or show on television about plane crashes that evening

So can any one else help me make sense of this.

This dream is straight from your unconcious so don't worry about it coming true. I believe the dream shows as follows.

Disney land represents your present social circle, lots going on but you feel you cannot relax (you are one of the characters, so you feel in your social circle you are the entertainer and it feels like work all the time). You want to escape this role alot.

To escape this your nexxt destination is an air show with a stranger who you feel a strong bond as they are involved with the opera.

This is a reflection of what influences you wish to incorporate into your social life, Opera, air shows and the outdoors. You feel your present social circle don't have the same common interests.

The plane dives towards you, everybody runs away, but you stand your ground because you are self assured about what you like even if no one else is.

Keep your social circle, but explore your other interests and make friends who have these things in common with you and you can have a rest from always being the entertainer.

Hope this solves it for you.

Wow.

Two things suggest to me why you might not have been afraid: You were able to control your dream (and yes, this is possible) so that you when you yelled you wanted to change it, this happened, and two, you are aware in the dream that this was a dream, and so didn't run away when the plane was falling towards you. Sometimes dreams seem so real that it's easy to feel frightened in them, they are so like real life. It's like you realise there is nothing to fear in the dream.

The Disney Land and your emotions in relation to it suggests to me that you don't want to get stuck in a job or other situation that you don't like.

The Opera member is interesting also, do you admire the arts? And the air show and the person yelling that at you.

Like everyone else just guessing here but I'd say you feel trapped in a job or course of study you thought you'd love when you first started. Now like an animated character you feel like you're just going through the motions.

The plane represented what feels like a big risk of change. You wanted a friend with you to face it for moral support. It not only soared high w/o a net but defied limits on what it could do. But you knew ultimately it's a decision you have to make yourself. That's why the friend left.

You knew you should be afraid but the desire for change was stronger than the fear. So you took the chance, absorbed the danger and woke to find you could survive.

OR........

You ate some bad mushrooms. lol!

I've had dreams where I was falling, naked in public, being chased, being stabbed, etc.
When I would have these kinds of dreams, they would come when I was really stressed out. Most of the time, they didn't make sense like yours. But, your does make sense a bit. Maybe you're going through a tough time?

Or, you're having trouble with something in your daily life that you have failed to notice. I'm thinking that the plane represents
something in your life that you can't control. And Disney represents your lack of finding your way out of a diffiocult situation. And you not being afraid is just your subconscious telling you that you'll get through it.

According to Dreamcrowd:

The relationship that we have with our mother is the most psychologically significant relationship of all. Rarely all good or all bad, our mothers always invoke powerful emotions. We may dream about our mothers in many different forms. She may be disguised in our dreams, and it is our job to find her in there. If you are dreaming about your mother, you may be addressing some issues or concerns in your dream, or your dream may be based on a valuable memory. The general image of "mother" in a dream may symbolize a variety of feelings and ideas: caring, nurturing, love, acceptance, hard work, sacrifice, martyrdom, etc. The mother in your dream could also represent the "collective unconscious," the source of the "water of life," and the yin. Carl Jung suggests that women in dreams represent our collective unconscious and men the collective consciousness. Thus, the woman is that force, or current, inside of you that nudges you on and inspires you. It is your intuition and the knowledge that in not necessarily attached to words. Men, on the other hand, represent the active part of us that use the information received to create the physical reality of our lives. When the two are working together well, we have balance and experience awareness leading to peace and productivity. See also: Parents

It sounds to me like you might subconciously feel that you are putting on an act in your day to day life, and you can't show who you really aere, but are stuck that way. (The Disney Character thing.) Also you know hiding who you are is not good for you but you have no intention of getting yourself out of the situation, because for the moment it is easy to be carrying on with. (The plane coming towards you, and you not moving.)
It's just a theory, but you could think abou it and see if any of it applies to you?

You're feeling trapped in the profession or school courses you are currently going through. You know that you need to make a change, and that nobody else can do it for you. You feel you are meant for "better" things, but are afraid to "get out of your own way".

Sleep lets our brains get on with the filing and housework. Dreams are what we remember of this. If you think through the various elements of your dream, you'll find some of them are things you've done recently and some are related subjects from long ago.

It seems to me that your dream says that you are feeling "trapped" in your life as it is. Perhaps a job you really do not like, a relationship you are in....you always have to play a "role". Change it! Break out of your normal routine. Let yourself "fly". Good Luck!!
