Yea, I raced cars in high scool and until I went to the navy in 1977. I was pretty sucessful at flat rock in MI. Ive had drag cars and a pro stock Kawsaki 900 (that ran low 8 sec.) when I was a consultant in the nuclear power industry 82 thru 96. I ran the bike at Pamona for Dan Dewalt racing. I was also special forces in the late 70s (UDT seal) and BEE from navy.
I'm Mark Martins age now and I guess the chance passed me by when I went navy instead.
Keep on roundy rounding until you can make enough to move up or find a sponsor. Half of racing is marketing yourself.
Racers are small because it gives them a slight weight weight advantage and the tend to have more stamina than over weight persons.
If you have a dream persue it 110% and you cant help but get noticed. A wise man askes the question of 15 wise men then makes a conclusion as to the best course of action. Dont be afraid to ask.

It would be fun however racing a car in nascar is not for people who weigh over 200 lbs. I used to be friends with a formula driver and he told me once that the reason drivers are thin and in shape, he called it tight, is so that if they crash their organs don't bounce around. Hmmmm don't know if he was telling me the truth or not, but makes sense to me. I see you are a Sabbath fan. I would love to see Ozzy drive a nascar, on drugs of course.

No I like to watch races but I would die if I am in one as a driver. I hate driving my own car. I will love to a chauffeur to drive me around.
