The whole purpose of the "troll patrol" makes no sense. They don't want porn but they post it and report the people who respond with remarks like, "there are children in here please do not post that". . .yeah that makes a lot of sense.
In my opinion the "troll patrol" was started by a person who needs attention and unfortunately there must be many people willing to follow anyone.

Ha. Troll Patrol. I get it. It's people thinking that there are easy ways of tackling trolls on here.
I've seen their work, and it looks more like they need a rename:
Trolls On Patrol
If you can't burp without picking up a suspension, can't sneeze without being accused of violating the 'silence', what's the point?
If I'm answering every question I can, I'm bound to eventually answer a troll's question. The whole idea is to not give them the answer they are looking for.
However, I can still be kicked off for this?? Worse still, not even by Yahoo!
How very dare they?
I don't want trolls any more than the next user. I don't wanna see porn pictures or anything like that. But I fail to see how it's my issue. Thumbs-down at will people, but reporting is not going to solve anything.
Trolls On Patrol: Have you not noticed how these porn avatars keep coming back? Has it not occurred to you that by reporting them, YOU are showing them more attention than you would by answering them in a non-reactive way?
If Yahoo! Answers was religion, you lot would be the equivalent to these Islamic preachers.
Taking the rules way out of context and using them to cause harm.
I'll get off my peaceful pedestal now.

If you have Strong opinions and your opinions seem to be based on something other than crazy or cool aid drinking sheeple concepts then people take notice. I've had the thumb stalker chase me all over the boards.
I've also posted questions that were deleted within seconds of being posted followed by a violation notice. One in particular ask "Do you think being judgmental is good for your soul?" Then a paragraph of personal reasons why we shouldn't judge, it was a rare case of me not ribbing the fundamentalist.
Then I see questions about "Nuking Mecca" full of anti-Islamic hate speech. I report them, tell friend on messenger, they report it. Three hour later the question is still there. The next day it's still there. I quit looking for it after that.
What's really going on here?

I first learned of the "Troll Patrol" not 5 minutes ago. I've probably been targeted because I've answered troll questions, and I've received some violations for it.
This is a case of people taking this way too seriously and having far too much time on their hands. I'm reminded of the Crusades.

That is insane. Someone is taking Y!A waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too seriously.
Remember, you can ask a question with a cross as an avatar, then change the avatar after you get a lot of answers. Then the troll patrol will report all the people who answered you thinking you are a Christian asking a question.
hmmm....we could use this against the fundies....now THATS an AGENDA.

It might have been a troll who got my last question deleted and me a violation notice. How asking who would celebrate with me for reaching level 7 is a violation -I have no idea. Maybe a jealous troll reported it for some obscure reason.

The Holy Spirit radar within usually can pick up the frequency of toxic people and trolls. And God usually "takes care" of these undesirables. Vigilante groups taking things in their own hands can inadvertantly recruit trolls themselves. Now what good does that do?
Jesus knew exactly what would happen when we rely on men to try to do God's work:
"And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God." -- Luke 18:27 KJV

It seems like they're taking the law into their own hands and not being fair at all. I mean, who gives them the right to police this site?
Besides, doesn't making ones questions and answers private solve this problem? Unless of course they simply randomly search for you all the time, then you can claim harassment...I hate to block anyone or make things private, though, but I've been forced to. It sucks.

Ah, don't you love censorship? lol
And really, who's definition of vile are we talking about?
While I do not find the picture of a penis appealling, I do not find it vile because its a natural part of the human body. And since I'm a straight man, I don't find the picture of a vagina vile in any sense.
So it all comes down to who's definition of vile are we accepting? And as for 10 yr old boys, they've already seen a penis, even if it is theirs or their fathers, and likewise for girls.
The human body is nothing vile. But yeah, protecting youth to an extent is good. The bad part is who's doing the protecting and what do they consider offensive and vile?
Can you tell I don't like censorship? lol

I disagree with this. While I find some of the "trolls" on here abhorrent, there are others that are simply being funny.
Take "Tragic Typos" for example. He is often quite amusing and although I'm a Christian I've never found him to be particularly offencive.
What makes this group think they get to be judge, jury, and executioner in a public forum?
Parents need to start taking responsibility and monitor their kids.
