I personally and no flaming!!! i dont belive in global warming i think its a scam but when i say this i am made fun of and not taken seriously becasue there is another side of the story. I watched a video and read about the so called "global Warming". i hate how they blame the little guy. The enviormentalist said and i qoute" ,Muscle cars are one of the most pollutive vehicles on the road and must be disabled". Excuse me! They are only driven very little but it still create co2 so im a bad guy!! why do the enviormentalist hate people who jsut dont think its right??? answer me al gore

but what im saying is that i dont belive in it why was i forced apon watching it i watchjed in school because "its true and you cant control it" is what my teacher said. I have seen all the movies and a freind of mine is a scientist and helped me understand that its a scam.

because nunsoom told me to get rid of my car im gunna go drive it more and just so you know. i have a 1968 dodge coronet with a 440 ci engine that gets around 11 to the gallon and im proud to say its better looking than any car around. and no not 98 percent belive.

Have you ever heard of global cooling?? yeah 1970's it was the opposite why?? and now all odf th sudden its getting warmer?? make up ur mind . and yes ikm informed and i dont bleive in it but why do you all say it is reall and wont listen to the other side.

It's no different than Hitler using the pseudo science of Eugenics to fuel the flames of hatred towards the Jews. Once a mob mentality is created (and we're very close to that now) anyones rights can be violated because there is a better good (saving the planet) then protecting individual rights.

Let me say your not the bad guy here, misinformed maybe but not the bad guy. Most people do feel we need to save the planet and are willing to do what is needed to do that. Giving up a hobby like Muscle cars is not necessary, ONLY if your driving them as little as you say you are.

The issue is that some people drive them all over the place, and or huge SUVs that guzzle gas and spew toxins. these people are "the bad guys" you speak of. there are two sides to this story, I am sorry to say you are mistaken about global warming, and i think if you did some research beyond the hype you would find what your looking for in proof. the world is changing, we will need to find better ways to do some of our day to day lives.

The other side of this is the thought that power comes from knowledge. when you are hassled tell that person to hush you only drive it little bit and he does not know what else you do for or against the environment.

I am on your side here buddy - Global Warming is a misunderstanding of a natural process. The earth has warming and cooling cycles - If we were headed in to an ice age, would Al Gore be lecturing about Global Cooling? YES!

Granted, pollution needs to be cut down because it does destroy our environment - We need to stop relying on fossil fuels that dirty up the sky and we need to learn to recycle everything. That is a long way off for now so if the government just focused on educating everyone as to how they can help as opposed educating everyone as to how big a problem it is, maybe, just maybe, there would be some improvements.

It's because the people ridiculing you can't compete in the market place of ideas, so they resort to ad hominum attacks, thinking that shooting the messenger makes the message false.

All the global wrming kool-aid drinkers have blindly followed a path of reasoning which has little or no substance in reality. But somehow it's chic to be a disaster-monger. The data doesn't support their position when all sources of error are accounted for. Climate history doesn't support their position.

Fact: it has been colder in human history than it is now.

Fact: it has been warmer in human history than it is now.

Fact: the Earth's climate has been relatively benign in the last couple of millenia compared to what it has been before then.

Are things heating up? Yep. Mars is also heating up. What's causing THAT? To say it's human activity doing it is like a bunch of fleas arguing about who's steering the dog.

And SO WHAT? Historically, the human race has always done better in warm times than in cold. Go sell your stories to the farmers on the southern Sahara who are reclaiming desert because of increased rainfall due to *gasp* global warming!

Well, what are you basing this disbelief off of? You must beware of pseudoscience. It is all around us! It is best to get your information from scholarly journals and other professional literature of that nature.

Many of the videos (documentaries, etc.), books, magazine and newspaper articles that we watch/read are influenced in one way or another by interest groups. You must always beware of where funding is coming from for these videos, etc. For example, a video against global warming that was funded by a major oil company would be very biased. Of course they will be against global warming, and they will want everyone else to be also. It goes the other way as well. Al Gore is making money off of convincing people that global warming is a real issue. So, he has his own personal motivations.

In order to find out that truth, like I said earlier, refer to scholarly journals. Then make your decision.
