It just depends on where on your face looks the best. However, do NOT under ANY circumstances, put in a ring until it is completey healed. Give it about 6 months or so. Trust me. Lip piercings cannot heal properly with a ring in. They rotate too much, causing the scar tissue to continue to be ripped. Plus, they cause keloids, which are very very bad. Definitely DEFINITELY start with a stud.

Oh, and **** what the girl before me said. Do what you want and screw the people that don't agree with it.

I would say don't get it in the middle of your lip. But that's just me..either side looks totally great. I would recommend getting it pierced with a stud, its a lot better during the healing process with a stud, and then you can always change it out with a ring when its done healing. Or if you chose to get it pierced with a ring, it's still cool..studs are just easier to work with while its healing.

Ok,
I have to diffrent things that look so hot. (I personally only have my nose and 14 holes in my ears).

1. Get a diamond stud in the middle♥
2. Get a ring on one of the sides. But make sure the ring isnt that thick!♥

PS. Luck with it make sure it doesnt get infected!

Just remember that though the proceedure may seem like a good thing now, you will grow up and also, most adult men past their wild teen to 20 aged years, don't want any woman with a piece of jewelry sticking out of their lip every time they want to kiss them or take them somewhere with them, especially to some very important function. Just something you may not have thought about. If you still want to go ahead with it, get the smallest thing you can get with the tinest hole and put it in the most unnoticed place.

depends on your face, i guess.

i really like the look of vertical labrets. you have to have a pretty plump lower lip to pull it off and make it look good however. The nice thing about this is you don't have to worry about gum erosion cause it doesn't actually go in your mouth.

It's really up to you. What do you think you would look best with?
