You have missed the point though. Muhummad defended his religion causing him to use his sword.

Jesus will do the same kill for those who disbelieve his religion. So how can you use your answer as an arguement?

I apologise. This is what i wanted to say. People say Islam was caused by Muhummad killing disbelievers.

But Jesus does the same. He kills for the sake of those who deny him. So how is Islam violent if Jesus follows the same rules for Christianity? (When he returns, read my link)

Muhammed saas did not use the sword to defend his religion.

In the first 13 years of Islam, the muslims were not allowed to fight even in self defence. They were to bare with patience the torture of the non-believers. We know how cruel were those years for the muslims.

After the migration to Madina, finally the first Muslims state was formed. Muhammed saas signed treaties of PEACE with the Jews and the pagans. It was when the treaties were broken, and aggression from the pagans and Jews that war broke up. It was mostly in self defence and to restore peace.

Islam is the religion of Peace, and encourages it's believer to fight for justice and restoration of Peace. It is a great unlaughable JOKE that Islam was spread by the sword

It is the sword of intellect. The sword that conquers the hearts and minds of people. The Qur’an says in Surah Nahl, chapter 16 verse 125:
