When you are born again you are born of the Spirit.
You can be born again only once, just as you are born only once.
"That which is born of the flesh is flesh.
That which is born of the Spirit is spirit."

Peter said to believers:

"For you have been born again, not from seed which is perishable, but imperishable; through the living and remaining word of God."
I Peter 1:23

Doesn't anybody understand? you can only be "born again" only 1ce. After that, then you are 1Jn. 1:9, once you are born into the Kingdom of God, you are there...good or bad, you are there...God will Judge the "world, Jesus will Judge the Church, good or bad...sheep on the right-goats on the left...(good christians from bad ones) You can always re-dedicate yourself to the Lord, many have done this many times for many reasons. but you only get born again Once. Hi Jennifer In your scenario it is just a cycle of insecurity of little faith. Thinking that each time you find a new religion you need to be born again and each church will tell you that you have to be to part of their church, but your are only being born again into that religion or church. Jesus says this; As Jesus talked with Nicodemus, He said "...Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." Nicodemus said to Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?" Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, You must be born again...." (John 3:3-7). He doesn't say that you have to be baptized each time you change churches, just that you have to baptized. So like all Catholics I too was baptized a few weeks after birth and I have not nor will I need to be baptized again, because baptism is with water and the holy spirit and the blessing of the church and priest entering in to life of Christianity. That is what was was taught and tis is what I believe, but feel free to be whom you want to be, with his blessings.... Take care and Keep the Faith....PEACE....cya....

just once is enough. the name of church is unimportant. if i believe Jesus is son of God and he came to earth, lived sinless life was fully man and God and died for my sins rose again on the third day and is now interceding for me, and w/out him i am lost and the holy spirit is my helper etc i am born again. but to make it simple recognise i need a savior and accept Jesus as the only savior. that is being born again. u cannot be born again and again. if u thought so there was a mistake somewhere. u can be born again only once. it is more than enough.

Once saved, always saved, if truly saved. It only has to happen once if it's for real when it happens. You don't lose your salvation.

And no, being born again does not mean being baptized. The commenter who thinks this should get his facts straight.

You can only be born again once! Once you become a child of God you have become a citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven. That citizenship and son ship can never be revoked.
You may walk in disobedience and become and child of disobedience, but I wouldn't recommend it.

I wonder how many of these saying "once" are the same people that claim "once saved always saved" is false doctrine.
