Like a hella lot! Where do I start?
1. Bought goods from a clothes party, paid in cash and the hostess never gave up my order and just made up a story about the company returning the money and she thought it was her commission needless to say I never got the clothes I ordered nor did I get my money back

2. Babysitting 6 children(nephs and nieces) for one night that turned into 10 days and the I never got paid for it

3 Child actually stole my mobile phone from my house and just broke down when when confronted by police without them even saying a word (poetic justice there). She also delted many numbers from the directory

4 Men...need I say more?

5.Neighbour using my washing machine more often in one week than I do..with no offer of any payment until I told her it was broken (a fib, but I had to stop it somehow)

6 Borrowed the car to go to the garage to fill it up (b/c my partner too drunk @ the time) and never came back for 9 hours(empty tank of course)

7 Lend money or should aI just say make a donataion, b/c they never want to pay it back

I could go on and on. I have many stories like this. I sometimes think I have a tattoo on my forehead that say USE ME!! b/c ppl do it all the time. My fault too I guess.. but I can't seem to deny anyone who needs something until I get fed up with it. Some ppl are so mean...guess I just have to toughen up and start saying NO!!!

While there is a lot of "give and take" in relationships, there is always someone looking for someone to use in some way. It is up to you to get to know that person and find out where they really are coming from FIRST before it goes too far.

If you attract a string of users, it is your own issue and you need to look at what it is about you that attracts these people into your life. You need to look at the patterns and work to defeat those patterns.

There is usually a point at which you have to assess each relationship by asking "What does this person bring to the table?"
Are they good friends? Can you rely on them? Are they at least entertaining? Does everything they do constutute an imposition on you? Are they a mooch? Are they all about themselves and waste a lot of your time? Are they an irritant? If you cannot justify this person being in your life, you need to give them a lot of distance and quit answering their calls.

Once you have been used by someone, then you should be done with them. I don't care what excuse you have, they have shown you how much they really care. ZERO!!!!!!!!!!!! From what I have been told true friends do not use each other. I have yet to find a "true" friend. So for the last few years I have been happy with out any so called "friends". I do not get used or hurt by anyone that way. Works for me but not everyone

A few times.
One of the guys ended up being very close to me. And he was my brother's best friend.
Sometimes when you know you're being taken advantage of...you kinda just go with it and take advantage of the situation as well. But it's not a smart thing to do.
If you're asking this question because it's happened to you - don't worry...we all go through it.

Our so called family, close friends of the family turned out to be people users. It was always us they run to to get us to do things around their house instead of paying a contractor to.
Later to find out that they were never around when you needed them or they would always say ..
"Sorry ..I can't be much help..or I promised the kids a trip to the mall while you have a gaping hole in your roof from a hurricane aftermath. They are dressed for a trip to the movies.

They turned out to be money mongering gold diggers and people users that hurt our family deeply.
For as we thought we were close in friendship..the truth turned out to be they just honing in on our wallets, bank accounts ( yes as a partner I was also robbed) so they could continue to live their lavish lifestyles.

I will leave it at that.

I have lost track. Most of them were not that close - they just wanted something on a particular day, and I never heard much from them again.

several (3 times in 5 months) I've been used. check out my question from a few days ago. 1 of those 3 was very close to me even before she used me for sex. But oh well, live and learn, screw and die, get your piece of the pie.

There was one guy in particular. I liked him from grades 5-8 (Few weeks away from being a Highschool Sophomore).

Anyway, in the 7th grade, he told my best friend that he liked me and wanted to go out with me and he could relate me or my name to absolutely everything. I thought it was the sweetest thing ever, but he never asked me out.

The next school year, I was talking to my best friend and I asked her, "Did Sean ever say why he liked me?" She got quiet and it took a lot of forcing and yelling, but she told me. The guy (Sean) only wanted to go out with me because his best friend liked me and they got mad at each other. He wanted his revenge and to get it, he was going to go out with me, have sex with me, in the boys bathroom, when we were in the 9th grade, and get me pregnant. JUST TO GET BACK AT HIS FRIEND.

Then, to top it all off, he called me slutty because of the clothes I wore! (!!!!!!!) I "sluttiest" thing I owned was a shirt that was fairly low cut and a mini skirt that went to my knees.

So to answer your question, yes I was used, other times, but this was more serious than any other time. He was so close to me. One of my best friends. =[
