What state are you referring to? I've attached a link to a website that lists all the states with tax free weekends. It might help you.

The web site you're ordering from will tell you. For example, the tax-free weekend in Texas is 8/17-8/19. The on-line company would need to be located in Texas to give you tax-free purchases during this time frame.

I checked Target.com which is a national company and they do not offer tax-free shopping. I imagine that's because their e-commerce is not located in Texas.

Tax-free holidays are sponsored by individual states, are held on different dates, and not all states participate. The items that are "tax free" vary from state to state as well.
