I just got a new Chihuahua puppy. He is really well behaved and doesn't bark hardly at all in public. What places can I take him with me? I know certain places don't allow pets, but, he is so adorable, I want to show him off. Where can I take him with me?

Any outdoor venues would be acceptable (i.e. parks, ballgames, and beaches). You could also take it to Petsmart. I have seen people bringing pets into some retail and grocery stores, but I'd advise against that unless you know the store's individual policy. Still, I think it's good that you are going to take him out. I read somewhere that a new puppy should meet 100 people in its first 6 months of life. If you do this, he'll continue to be well-behaved and won't bark his head off every time he sees a strange person.

I'd avise against taking him public places until he's had all his puppy shots. There's so many nasty things out there that can make him ill. But after that take him everwhere :). To socialize, one easy place I like to take puppies is to a shopping mall. I sit outside with my puppy in a sit/stay, preferably an area where it's not TOO busy and encourage anyone and everyone who cares to let the puppy smell their hand and give the puppy a pet. Puppies are irresistable :) And don't forget to bring water
