A puppy is fully grown by two years, but most of the time they still act like a puppy until around three. Dogs that are two are like teenagers in a way--they still can be a little hyper and misbehave! :) I've found that around two, they start mellowing out, but get to be much better after three. As far as food, I believe that they are no longer eating puppy food by the time they're a year old and sometimes less.

It really depends on the breed. Some dogs take alot longer to mature and develop than others, so they are considered adults later than dogs that mature fairly quickly. For example, labs can be considered adults at 18 months to 2 years, but german short-haired pointers aren't considered adults until 3 years of age.
Hope this helps!

My theory is one year. I think most people will agree on that.
I found an interesting 'dog age' calculation with this as well. I know everyone said 7 years equals one dog year. However if your dog is to be considered an 'adult' then the first year should be 21 years old versus 7 years old. After the first (21) year, count 7 years for each additional year.
So, if you have a 10 year old Golden Retriever, its age would be 84 in dogs years (21+(7x9)).

Make sense?

Your puppy should be full grown at about 8 months to 1 year, but it will still act very puppyish until it is about 2 years old.

Around two years old, however they may act like a puppy untill the day they die. I had an 8 year old dog who acted like a 8 month old.

Depends on how youre asking the question, whether it be mentally or physically. Mentally, it depends on the breed, most 'mature' around 3 years of age, physically however they are considered adults around 2,5 years of age.

A small dog is full grown at about 10 months of age I am not shure about a bigger dog though they grow slower and it takes the more time to mature.
