I don't think the answers were that bad after reading your previous question. Think you got off lightly to be honest. Sounds like your dog has a real medical problem and YA is not the place to get advice on that, only a vet can help. Judging by your over-reaction i don't think that you'll be missed too much. Why didn't you post a picture so that we could try to help more? I think lots of people tried to help you. We're not vets and can't read your mind.
Chill out and go to the vet instead of wasting time being offended.

Hi I didn't answer your earlier question, but I have read the answers and I don't think people were being nasty but trying to help. With you saying "thread"the first thing that they thought of was thread worms, some did ask for a photo to help you out more.People were concerned about your dog more than your feeling and that is the way it should be. Perhaps if you had given more info about your dog people would not have jumped to the wrong conclusion, but they were only trying to help.

Firstly, I am so glad that your dog is OK. Secondly, ignore all the morons on Yahoo Answers and be assured taht most of the people on here are decent people who do genuinely want to give advice and help to others. There are some who deliberately try and wind people up and post offensive and abusive answers. You have to have broad shoulders sometimes. I once posted a question about how "correct" schools have to be with not being allowed to put plasters on and suncream and the first few answers I had were basically saying that I would let anyone fiddle with my daughter. That wasn't what i meant at all- i was just comparing what teachers are aloowed to do now compared to years ago when they were a "parent" at school. I was slated for being a bad parent and someone even said to me "you are the parent, your responsibilty". They didnt even bother to read the question correctly so i just deleted it. Please don't give up on Yahoo Answers-we are not all bad.

If you are so sensitive about what people wright you on this sight you probably should not ask any more questions. You don't even know these people and you are getting all worked up over some comment of some stranger. Co'mon you re not the first person ever to get a nasty answer on this site.

ok i read the question you asked and then the first angry response to the people who answered you. I'm not in any way trying to rile you up again but you got to realize that most people on here are not vets. you didn't really give all that great of description on your first question. i don't know how people came up with worms but they did. sorry you had a bad experience on here your first time but that's the risk you run when asking other peoples opinions. glad all worked out for your dog.

Bye Bye then. Sorry but i cant understand how you can be so bothered by answers from people who know nothing about you and vise versa. Why ask if you cant take the bad as well as the good. Obviously there are people on here who are going to be nasty. You always get at least one of them for every question. Just shrug it off and ignore it.

I am glad to hear your dog is healthy! after seeing this post I checked your earlier question(s)
I am sorry you feel so ill treated by the people on this site BUT
1. you didn't give people much information to go on (you did not inform us in your question that your dog has been wormed and gets regular vet check ups. Because of the number of people who ask questions on here who DON'T properly care for their dogs we assume the worst unless told otherwise.)
2. people who visit this site and answer questions have lost much of their sensitivity to asker's feelings because of the appalling nature of many of the questions asked.
We answer those questions we can but every day there are more people asking questions that chill me to the bone. I have only been on here a couple of month and I can't remember the number of times I have had to tell people to take a dog to the vet because it was vomiting blood, laboring for DAYS, having seizures, or in any number of other ways on death's door.
If you are that sensitive it is probably best you go elsewhere for answers, as the QUESTIONS asked here will probably turn your stomach. Here is a nice example My Dog ate rat poison what can I do OTHER than take him to the vet? http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AtCIS8C9OcB8e_lX8q.XH.LL7BR.?qid=20070815083903AA5mAqq
Once again, I am glad your dog is safe!

if you have questions about your animal, and are concerned, take him or her to the vet. it doesn't seem as though anyone here knows what is going on with the pet.
sometimes it's useful to ask for answers, but in many cases, there are no good ones.
you are right, you are very defensive... hon, everyone has his or her own opinion and you leave yourself wide open when you ask questions no matter where you go.
it's ok to feel protective of yor family and your pets...
and it's not hurting us if you find answers elsewhere... hmm i dont get it?

Great to know that you accept constructive critizism! You never can make a correct decision unless you hear the good and the bad!

Please don't take this the wrong way but you have got it in one, I wouldn't trust an answer on here unless I could verify it elsewhere, Some things are to important to be asked of strangers. Lot's of the people on here are doing this for fun, Some are doing it to try to help. I can find no way of telling them apart and as such take everything on here with a pinch of salt.
