I have been recycling since the 1970's (the media were hyping global cooling at this time) because I thought it was a god idea and being brought up in the '40's and 50's, a time or rationing in UK, I abhor waste.
I don't think it will make any difference to climate change which is a natural process. Carbon dioxide is only one very small part of the climate picture and man's contribution to it is fractional. I don't know my carbon footprint because I think it is just political hype

Less than the government calculates, yet I still pay the extra tax inspite of carbon footprint savings and carbon credits.
Yes, but what really fries my nerves is fly tippers ruining the countryside to avoid paying there share for their waste and disposing of it appropriately (or even recycling it).
Yes.
Yes, the government has been very clever in taxing it so everyone pays attention and the mass population pays for the excesses thus getting poorer

I don't drive at the moment I cycle, but when I do pass my test I will look into an energy sufficient car and will also offer lifts to lessen vehicles on the road. At present I recycle all glass, paper, tin and have a large compost bin that gets put back into my garden for growing my own veg etc. I donate all other items such as clothes, shoes, bedding, etc to charity so it can be used again.

Dont know exact figure of my carbon footprint. I personally generate a little wastage; no, i dont recycle them - there is no such system in my area, in fact commonly at my country.
When i read about it i feel i care...but, seeing, in reality....i dont. but, i feel, i should.

I recycle all I can but could probably do better. I imagine like most of us (even those who try really hard) I have a Yeti size footprint. (I do care though.)

Mine's small - far below the American average. My home uses less than one-third the national average energy consumption, I bike to work, drive a Prius, etc. I also recycle everything I can - my recycle bin is almost always at least twice as full as my trash can.
I certainly do care. Global warming is the greatest threat the human race has ever faced.

I'm sure I waste alot of stuff....I drive an SUV, I don't recycle, I don't think that any of my appliances are energy efficient and the light bulbs cost too much, I run my AC all the time, I smoke cigarettes and throw the butts out the window, I don't conserve water, I use pesticide's, plastic throw away plates and utensils are my favorite, I don't dispose of used motor oil properly, I guess there is alot of stuff I could change....i never really thought about how much "pollution" I create by myself....hmmm...you made me think....Good Job!!

yes i have what i call the polar bear bin which is for all the paper and tins then my normal bin,i sort through that one to get all the bits out that go's in the polar bear bin, which can be pretty gross & they think I'm mad at home plus the fact that i've got a water meter so i'm sure by the time i've washed it it's costing me money but know one is thinking of my bill or the water that i'm wasting,so really it's abit off a visious circle

Like most people in this world, I am conscious of the fact that Global Warming is a real thing but I don't really do anything to help correct the problem. I feel bad being that I was a Geography major in college and learned all harmful effects of Global Warming and still do nothing to help our environment. That's sad.
