Thank you so much for your question. It has led me to an understanding when it is coupled with the answer that I read to it. When we cut away all the man made propaganda, rules, and dogma that has formed around the basic belief that we respect (worship, follow or what ever word you want to use) a divine power or being, we are left with one truth....that being we are all a part of ONE web the center of that is the divine. No matter what we call he/she or even it, the divine is the same. This pulsating mass of all that exsists, be it past, present and future, all energy of life and yes death. The problem with religion is it argues things that aren't important such as what the divine is called or what form, something that is so beyond form, takes. Man is a self limiting being hense his obsession with rules and organization. It is natural then I suppose for him to assume that his divine is also self limiting. Man took it upon himself thousands of years ago to give the divine rules and organization callling it religion and telling others that it comes from God. These have caused immeasurable harm to man over all that time. i think I now understand that the real problem is the organization of religion and the immature stubborn streak that some religions have that dictate that they are the only ones who know what form the divine is and what he/she/it is called. Because I choose to respect/worship/follow a dual set of forms of the divine rather than one single form and choose not to chain them to a set of man made rules, I become the enemy to them. Thank you for your question as it has led me to a higher understanding of the ones who abused me so badly so many years ago. Blessed Be.

Half way there. Love, truth, strength, honesty, home, peace, compassion are al spiritual principles that the real you expresses and lives by. Nature, the moon, the sun, the stars really don't have any power to offer you much beyond material subsistence and bodily functions which is going by by eventually. The other things are eternal; stick by them.

You are only condemned if you condemn yourself. Regardless of what others feel/belief/worship you along choose what is right for you.

Personally, I don't feel the Divine is an external entity who sits in judgment of us all from some remote place. We are all a part of the Divine and therefore divine ourselves. We are that which is Divine made manifest, so none of us are condemned, but whatever we do to another we do to ourselves.

You are no more condemned than I. My gods and goddesses are the allegories of Time, Death, Light, Darkness, Enigma and Nature.

If this condemns us in the eyes of those who quote fiction, then we *must* have a tea party later on!

the thing about this question that everyone needs to realize is that you said MY Gods and Goddesses.... these are your beliefs and you arent forcing them on anyone else.... those who want to condemn you were not ever taught anyother way ... they claim to be loving and understanding and compassionate.. but thats only if you believe what they believe.... if you are a good person..who cares WHAT you believe...

I believe that all paths lead to the same place and that they are all intertwined, no one way has it all right or all wrong.

No, not at all. Your faith is beautiful and real and not just a pretense. There is no need to question others on your spiritual path. Peace to you.
