I was Adopted when i was 3 and i want to find my biological family, where do i star? i have no clue, the only thing i know is that i was born in illinois.

When you turn 18 you can get the information from the state.

Start with your adoptive parents. They don't have to approve, but it would be nice to let them know what you want to do. They should give you any information/help they can, and go from there.

you start by talking to your folks. the people that adopted you. they probobly figured you'd ask questions one day. it's normal to want to know where you came from and about your history. they'll point you in the right direction.

do u know where u were adopted? if so then u should go to that place if it is still there. im sure they have info on ur bio. parents. if u dont then ask ur step parents if they knew ur bio. parents or not. hope this hlped. and good luck to u finding ur bio. parents
