I heard that using bleach (unless its specificly hiar bleach) won't work for getting that look for my hair. So i alos heard that if i absolutely have to do it without a kit, that peroxide works best. Like, will the kind of peroxide that you put on cuts'n'stuff work right? Or is there a different kind that I should use?

Oxygen Peroxide will work :) BUT you have to put it in a dark spray bottle and spray your hair every day. It will gradually lighten your hair on a daily basis. I will also recommend that you put moisturizers on your hair because the Oxygen Peroxide tends to dry out your hair.

And yes is the one used for cuts.

Good Luck I hope you get the results you are looking for. ♥

I would NOT use straight peroxide. Depending on how light you want to go you need to mix the appropriate volume with bleach. Then use a toner. You can get all that at Sally's for around $10. dont forget you'll need supplies too.

Get something that is specifically made for hair. Peroxide will dry your hair out. You can use the kind for cut, but is will damage your hair.

You can put regular hydrogen peroxide on your hair, just like the stuff you put on cuts. However, it kinda doesn't work, it tends to just turn it an orange color. It's easier to just buy a $10 kit from walmart.

dude.
i just put lemon juice in my hair and it gets soooo much lighter. it totally works too. get some lemons and squeeze the juice into a cup and then spread it evenly through your hair.
then go out in the sun and make sure your hair is in the sun and bam. your hair will be lighter.
hope that works.
it does for me!
