I am trying to apply feng shui to my bedroom/ studyroom. I read that you should put your bed on the west and study table on east. how do i know which is which exactly?

Maybe instead of trying to apply feng shui you should try to read a book on geography or my favorite "Common Sense for Dummies".

To put together what the first two responders said: the sun rises in the East and sets in the West. It makes sense that a desk would be on the side where the sun/light first shines in the morning, doesn't it?

which side of the house does the sun come up on?
that's the east side....take it from there
