Because it is to their benefit to do so. We have enabled them in the past. No more.

Simple. Because businesses want to minimize costs and maximize profits. Why hire an American at 10 or 15 bucks an hour when you can get an undocumented worker at say 5 bucks an hour. Plus you, as an employer save all the social security taxes, and pass the social costs, health care, education for his/her children etc on to the taxpayer.

Its all about big business, their bottom line, their lobbyists, and maximizing profits.

The illegals are less to blame than businesses that hire them.

The countries they flee don't afford them opportunities to live a decent life. Their countries have impotent leaders, impotent laws, and consist of people who don't have the balls or intelligence to do anything about it. They come here to leech of Americans who had the balls to make America the great country that it is. They some how feel that it is fair for Americans to take care of them. They are like children who need an allowance. Just as they have contributed to making their countries the 3rd world cess pools that they are, they bring their 3rd world mentalities to America and degrade the integrity of America. They are nothing more than anti-American freeloaders.

It is obvious.....THEY CAN!!! It stinks that we can take care of illegal immigrants and their children and ignore the fact that there are U.S. children in dire need for assistance. (I know a few guys that have returned home from fighting the war and they are fighting to get the rest of their military pay from injuries that had occurred from being activated.) I think they need to send them all back if they are illegal and their children should go with them regardless if they were born in the U.S. If they are here to stay and are legal then I think that they should learn English. I had a job once where they wanted me to learn Spanish to accompany them....I Quit...I did not move to their country so I have no reason to speak Spanish. I do not want to offend anyone in anyway, I apologize if I have. These are my feelings and my own opinion.

And we will never believe they are 'enforcing' while she is still there. She is a convicted felon who had been previously deported yet came back.

Why does she have a right to come and have us support her family?

Granted Saul is a citizen under current law, he appears to be living off social security for his ADHD, and that is money taken from a system that will already be bankrupt by the time I need it, who have been legally paying into it all of my working life.

Not to mention the cost of his education which in California would be $10,000 per year per child. Why should we have to cover that for her and others like her who come illegally at our expense?

Deport the illegal aliens and let them "legalize" from their country, not ours after getting in line behind all those already in the process. That's the only "option or means to legalize" that they deserve.

Who in their right mind thinks they should receive citizenship in front of legal immigrants still in the process?

I'm appalled that an Airport hired her. I am mad that the liberal press makes a big deal about her sons medical condition. So he's Hyper. I am enrage that she had her son here and now we are responsible for taking care of him. Second offense for illegal immigration should be stiffer than deporting her again.

she needs to be forced out of that church and deported. if an American was hiding in a church the law would go in there and grab the American. I'm so happy i moved out of Chicago. the only thing i miss is the italian beef and pizza.

people remain undocumented because there are no options for them to legalize their status. Give them a means to do so and then deal with those who do not legalize.

For those who might accept a libertarian perspective,

Every individual has the fundamental right to sell his/her time or talent at freely negotiated, market-driven prices.

To the extent that government obstructs this right through support of trade unions, immigration policies, borders, racial discrimination, social security regulations, drivers license regulations, passport regulations, tax policies or any other process, those artificial barriers should be removed.

This right is as basic as the right of free speech or the right to exist.
