Hi Sonia, please don't go by wrong assurances on some pacifying notes. An M.Phil. doing a receptionist job, oh God, what's the future of our country, this is highly shameful for such organization to have given you an appointment on such a post, rather they should have recognized your skill and talent here and would have absorbed accordingly.
Another important point that you didn't mention as to in which subject are you a qualified degree holder, as the Doctorate degree is just a step away from you, if you din't have any wish to complete it, then why did you wasted your time doing M.Phil.
You also did not make it clear as to which type of industry/organization are you associated with, where some of your past qualifications may pave way for you easily by giving you advantage on the basis of that qualification. You may have to talk on this issue directly with your supervisor/s and give it a serious thought, as by reading this I feel very sorry for your position and especially the way you are being ill-treated by your organization. I don't know how did landed up in this situation and they also didn't tell you that you are over-qualified for holding this position, if at all they have reserved some place for you, then please talk to them directly, and face it, as waiting won't bring any fruit, for unless the voices are raised in bigger organizations like such, nobody gives heed to such details what's happening around.
Best wishes,
Ozone

Many MNC companies are doing this type of business. You can compare the salary with other employees and slowly verify their salary details and still if you feel that they are not going to pay , you can tell them that you are leaving job right now and you are not satisfied with the salary they are giving. If they keep quite , you can come out and seek a better job as per your qualification > Yours VRVRAO

4 months and still waiting for confirmation? what is a degree holder doing as a receptionist? What is the career path are you planning for yourself? Talk to your superiors. Ask them to review the path with you. Planning the employees' career paths are common in mnc. I work in one. Your previuos experience as a teacher and your current job is not going to lead you very high, miracle aside.

Do you like your job? Is it satisfying? Is working as a receptionist with a masters degree the only way to break into the corporate world? Answer those questions and I think you will have your answer.

Hi mate, I have been watching and can see you are in pain, when a relationship breaks your whole world falls apart, you said the other day you had moved on but that is not so, you can not and will not be able to move on until she is out of your head and your life. You need to try and find other things to do, all the time you are on yahoo asking these questions over and over its keeping it all fresh in your mind. call a mate and go out for lunch but make the conversation something other than her, take sick leave if you are able to or holiday leave so she is not in your face, like when someone dies we need time to grieve and get over it, this in a way is worse as you will still see them.obviously when someone dies you dont want to get them out of your head. try to only remember her as a part of the good time in your past, its easy for me to say, although I have been in a similar situation but we ran a business together, I got through it as you will, it is like a fresh wound and at the moment it is open and sore but it will heal up, you need to make and stick to a decision, that is if she decides it was only a break and wants to come back would you have her?, would you put yourself through this pain all over again, its up to you!, you can fall in love again seems impossible at this moment but you know you can, You will probably look back in 2 years and think to yourself why did I put myself through that, I know I did. I hope you sort your mind out and move on but a bit at a time, its a big step, life is to short to live unhappy as you are, take good care best wishes.
