Mat: thanks for answering... if i press the reset button, do i have to re-install everything for the router again? cos my brother's laptop and my mother's comp internet is connected to my router...

Does the router have a reset button on it somewhere? It may be very small or hidden, and you may need a pencil or something to push it. If it has one, push it and hold it in for a few seconds. This should reset your router and restore it back to factory settings. Then the login should return back to admin admin.
Otherwise, I don't know of anyway to get back your password.

Did you or your mother enter a new password for your router...if not all routers ahve a default password ...mail me with your router model and i'll give you the default password...i'll also give you a guide to forwarding ports through your router...
