Just like the the belief the Greeks held and taught their kids that Atlus held up the world with his hands, the evolution myths will one day end. It may take 50-100 more years for scientist to finally say "There is positively no evidence to support the evolution myth" but it will happen. We need more Socrates today.

Swedish biologist Soren Lovtrup made an interesting statement: “I suppose that nobody will deny that it is a great misfortune if an entire branch of science becomes addicted to a false theory. But this is what has happened in biology...I believe that one day the Darwinian myth will be ranked the greatest deceit in the history of science. When this happens, many people will pose the question: How did this ever happen?”

Are we the ones with blind faith? Where you there when something popped into existence from nothing and exploded? No, well do you see something pop into existence from nothing today? Were you there when non-living matter gave rise to life? No, well do you see non-living matter giving rise to life today? Where you there when single-celled organisms gave rise to many-celled organisms, when invertebrates gave rise to vertebrates, when ape-like creatures gave rise to man? No, well do you see it happening today? You have to believe that matter came into existence by itself and then arranged itself into information systems by blind chance. That is what goes against real science.

As Dr. Jonathan Sarfati says, we need to quit calling evolution a theory; that is giving it too much credit. “Goo to you” evolution is an unsubstantiated hypothesis or conjecture, not a theory.

So why do so many people believe in evolution? It’s simple, most people believe what they want to believe and they don’t want there to be a God. You see, if God created us, then He also owns us. If He owns us, then He has a right to set the rules by which we must live. If He has set the rules by which we must live, then we are accountable to Him. They don’t want to be accountable to God; they don’t want to be controlled. And so, it is their desire to explain the origin of everything without a Creator at all costs; they must believe in evolution. Evolutionism then, is intrinsically an atheistic religion—the religion of secular humanism.

I'm not sure quite what to think about the paragraph supporting your question. The Greek myth of someone holding Earth up is more in line with Biblical teachings than with science. And that is the myth that has definitely been disproven.

You admit that Earth is a sphere spinning on an axis and orbiting the Sun, right? Go through the Bible for relevant quotes, and you'll find that fact is against Biblical teaching.

Evolution is based on fact. Like all science, it is a model that tries it's best to describe facts about the Universe or world. We will one day understand the processes better than we now do, but that doesn't discredit today's understanding.

Newton's laws are the same. They aren't complete, but they do a good job for their level of understanding.

It won't. Why should it? This is kind of like saying 'When will the spherical Earth belief phase end?' There were many close-minded, irrational people who refused to believe that the Earth was round even after the scientists of their day found very good evidence for its roundness. You are just doing the same with evolution, which just happened to arrive hundreds of years after the round Earth theory. Who cares about the many very real transitional fossils that have been found? Who cares about the radioactive age of the Earth? Who cares about computer simulations, measurements from distant supernovas and the scientific fact that bacteria evolve to become more resistant to antibiotics? There's evidence all around you. But you don't care, all you care about is what your giant imaginary friend said thousands of years ago. It's time to wake up and see the world as it really is.

Numerous verses in the Bible speak of foundations supporting the Earth which does not move. How are these myths any different?

And why do you guys pick on Darwin? Is there something you detest about him, that makes him so awful? This anti evolution movement has nothing to do with your religion. There's something else here going on. It's a mass neurosis.

As a 'former' Atheist, I must tell you that this will never happen. Science is a complex process and does not involve ‘feelings’; it can't afford to get mixed up with emotional responses. Science would be of better service if we stopped trying to interfere with the advancements. How is humanity being served, if we who believe in God deter the benefits of learning cures for illnesses and diseases; which He graciously provided?

Faith and beliefs are based on emotions, not scientific evaluations. This issue can and will be tossed back and forth, until the end of time as we know it. Or we can learn to accept that faith in God means, we believe He set all things in motion; for discovery and use in our society.

Faith serves as the conduit to God and science is the vehicle He gave us to learn about our world, gain more knowledge of diseases / illnesses, and find cures to sustain human life. Evolution happens everyday, all around us, and it will never stop.

I have to add this; Socrates would ask you questions about everything that you have faith in or believe.

Well you see there this little problem with your prediction. Facts. Evolution isn't up for debate anymore. The new debate is micro vs. macro evolution.

The Greek scenario consisted of old unsubstantiated stories, and you know what that sounds like don't you? Religion.

Your example fits better with religion than evolution.

You have it backwards. More and more people are dropping away from church superstitions. At one time, not too long ago, just about everybody was a strong believer. Nobody even questioned the fairy-tale beliefs of the church. Not so today . Churches have many empty seats. Many churches are completely out of business. The overall population is going up rapidly, but church membership is on a fast downhill slide.
There is positively no evidence to support the superstitious church belief.

They are not the same. Evolution is a fact; a fact widely recognized before Darwin’s theory. The “myth” of evolution will go out the door when the “myths” of gravity, electricity, and nuclear theory are expelled as well.

You skipped all of those science classes in school, huh?

I believe that the belief that we were all created by a big man with a white beard will end far before the evolution (cough) 'phase'. I mean, its already happening, is it not...i dont personally know any religious followers and em...evolution has been proven hun. So has God though i spose....O, WAIT A MINUTE...NO HE HASNT. RELIGION AS IT STANDS IS A FARCE AND THE ONY WAY PEOPLE ARE GOING TO GET TO THE ROOTS OF OUR CREATION IS BY DROPPING THE BELIEF THAT WE ARE ALL THE OFFSPRING OF 2 NAKED PEOPLE WHO ATE FROM THE WRONG TREE

Oh,sorry,really sorry...but you're wrong,so wrong...
There is no "evolution belief phase".The evolution will never end. That's the reality and you have to accept. If you want to believe it will end one day...give up.It will never happen...okay?
And Evolution isn't a myth...it's a theory(i know...) that can be proved.
