When is it o.k. for a woman to hit a man?

Why do so many people think it is socially acceptable to hit others? What is wrong with people these days?

Under the same circumstances in which you would agree it is okay for a man to hit a woman. Equal rights are here you know. I think it best no one ever hit anyone but if you make a decision like that you must be able to say if it were turned around and the man hit a women for the same reason, that would be okay with you.

I say NEVER, but in some cases, when there is mutual playing going on, a little "Love-Taps back and forth, where it's not painfull, OR when a man is attempting to hurt them, then it's alright to defend ones-self. Now if the people involved can't come to a verbal agreement to just Talk things out, then it's a good idea to get a mediator that they both know to help them get past things, because repercussions and other bad things can occur that will further make things become MORE VIOLENT, something No one wants to happen. Then Families and Police can get involved. Let's just all try to get along. A tap on the Butt isn't so bad especially with a little squeeze afterward. Have Fun!

I personally think it's never ok to hit a man or a woman. If it's playful then that's one thing, but to hit out of anger is wrong. Even if my hubby cheated on me, or hurt me, angered me in the worst way I would just walk away and not talk to him, I would never hit him. If it's self defense then I guess that's ok too but only if she is being attacked by the man, and is trying to get away.

It's not OK for anyone to hit anyone else, unless they are engaged in a sport where that is the way you play - boxing, MMA, etc.

Either that, or legitimate self-defense.

Anything else is totally inappropriate, regardless of gender. Too many women use their gender to allow them to beat on men - this is unacceptable. The definition of a coward and a bully is hitting someone you know won't hit you back.

my husband and i do slug bugs, and that is the only time we hit each other and it isnt hard, but sometimes we do pesterin in the bed before we go to sleep and that means we tickle, or run our fingers down each others backs to bug the other person and we play slap at the hands, but nothing hurts and no physical violence is involved. it isnt ok for a woman to hit a man and it definatley isnt ok for a man to use a woman as a punching bag. but if he hits first and then she hits back then its all up for grabs...

Abuse is abuse, whether its against a man or against a woman.

And chivalry aside, if a woman is hitting me repeatedly for something, I'm going to defend myself with the necessary force required to get her to stop hitting me. I'm not talking about a single slap to the face because my eyes may have wonder to another girl. lol I'm talking about continous punches that try to hurt my person.

romani would have the most lumps if she were able to survive her man beating her back for cheating etc... things one can't control terrible answer. if a man strikes a woman unjustly for reasons one can't control,then hit a man why risk a fight ,difference in strenght etc.. knock that mother fuuuucker all the way out when he's sleep. and call the ambulance. protect and preserve self any way possible if you want to live.

After she's been in the mall all day while he has finished his shopping in ten minutes then waited in the hot car for 10 hours. Then, when she finally does come out, he asks what took so long. Then, according to my wife, she can hit him numerous times with whatever object is handy.
