My sister is like my best friend. It is my mom I hate. My sister believes everything single word that comes out of my moms mouth. How can I get my mom to stop saying those things?

One time I asked my sister why she always believed everything my mom said. She said it is out of respect.

It may be displeasing to the Lord to hate my mother, but it is even more displeasing to lie and say I love my mom.

The best way to overcome lies like this is through actions. Treat your sister with the love and respect as you always do, try very hard to not get caught up in this situation.
Behaving well means that your sister will realise that you love her without you contradicting what your mum says, doing that just leaves you open to being called a troublemaker.
It's a tough position, but getting involved in bickering will only give ammunition to the situation.
Of course you could always tackle the situation head on by talking to your mum but if this was an option I dont think you would be asking for help online about it. If you can muster up the courage just go to your mum and tell her how upset you are about the situation and ask her what you can do to stop her from thinking you dont love your sister. This should either lead to her realising it's unfounded or her telling you the reason behind her opinion which you can work through together.
It can be hard living with a parent who simply doesnt understand you, but you have to remember that not everyone is like that and if you stay true to yourself you will be strong and enjoy life much more. You will end up being surrounded by people who appreciate you, it just takes time to find the right people or to figure out for yourself who you are.
Dont ever feel that you are alone, remember you're just waiting to find your place.
Im speaking from personal experience, so it's not just wishy washy mumbo jumbo.

First, hate only hurts you, it does not phase your mom. It is festering inside you, not her. Second, why don't you sit your sister down at a time you are unlikely to be interrupted and simply tell her the truth. Pour your heart out without rancor. If you speak negatively about your mom she may not hear you. Simply say you believe there is a mistake in judgment being made and you want to clear the air. Keep your statements "I" based, like, I think, I believe, I feel...like that. Or you can write her a letter, sometimes ppl pay more attention to that, and in addition you can always change your words if they don't say what you want. You can't pull words back when you talk. Just some ideas. I do believe though you do not want to say anything negative about your mom to your sister if you want things to be better between you two.

Show your sister first that you love her through not only your words, but more through your actions. If you sister is your best friend, and the feeling is mutual on her part too. You can appeal to her and you will win your sister and you wont have to worry about the attacks of your mother. Which I would recommend, think hard about why your mother attacks the way she does. There is a way to neutralize or disarm her attacks if you know their source. Try to resolve it the best you can, if you hate her(which is displeasing to the Lord), forgive her first from your heart, and ask God to change her heart and your heart too. That is the only real road to peace. It is not the easiest one, but sometimes the longer road is the shortest way home.

I feel very sorry for you that you hate your Mother. There must be some terrible misunderstanding between the two of you. Do you know why you and your Mother have reached this point ? Since your sister is your best friend, don't you think you could work things out with your Mother ?

Let your sister know you love her.. for evertyime yu r mom says you hate her tell her no you dont oyu love her.. do you show her your love. If you did then why would the sis beleive your mom?
I think there sre some other issues going on here... why is your mom saying these things? Perhaps you should speak to a teacher or maybe call a line for help. If she is really saying these hgorrible things its not right.

why would your mom say this?? Why is she trying to cause problems for you? YOu need to get to the bottom of this and have a heart to heart with her and your sister. Ask her why she lies to your sister in front of your sister and see what she says. Your mom may be going through some things and maybe she needs some help too.

You can't control what your mom says. The best thing to do is talk to your sister and explain what is going on. If you show your sister that you love her, it will be hard for her to believe otherwise, no matter what your mom says.

You can't make her do anything. You just have to keep loving your sister and showing her by being there for her. It sounds like your Mom is a very sick woman. Hopefully, you'll be able to get out of that environment as soon as possible (and take your sister with you.)

obviously your mom is hurt about your relationship with her. it sucks that people have to involve the rest of the family. try talking to your mom. you have a lot of anger for some reason. if that doesnt work, tell your sister that you love her and its not right that your mom is putting her in the middle and to keep the two relationships separate.

thats going to be hard becouse the parents are the ones the childern look towhen she says those things just try talking to your sister and let her no that you love her and you always will whatever you do don't say bad things about your mom infront of your sister let your sister see the loving person you are good luck and god bless
