You make a valid point which I too have contemplated along with the fate of the Rhinochickaceros from whence came the rhinoceros and the chicken. I suspect, and there is considerable evidence to support my suspicion, that both the chicken and the rhino are evolving back into the Rhinochickaceros as we speak. Inevitably, this merger will leave behind non-compliant chickens and rhinos who didn't want to re-merge. Same would seem to be true as to why there are still crocodiles and ducks.

Because only the crocodiles and ducks that lived in an environment that required them to evolve in order to survive evolved. The others didn't need to because they were well suited to their specific environments. This does nothing to disprove evolution.

Erms...

Wasn't it supposed to be the other way around?

Wasn't the whole point of the crocoduck to be the missing link between crocodiles and ducks that itself doesn't any longer exist?

*Sighs* These silly humans and crocoducks are confusing me.

People try to say this falsifies evolution, its simple to explain, people ask if we evolved from apes, why are there humans and apes, its because of different evolutionary lines. Some apes, depending on the part of the world they inhabited, needed to evolve. Maybe they where nomadic, and they moved from trees to plains, and after thousands of years they evolved into something resembling human, walking upright. But other apes stayed in the trees, so they didn't need to walk upright, and they still swung in the trees..... So there is your answer.

If he were a christian, I would give a person who actually believes such a statement a lot of credit for at least trying to think, no matter how feebly. If he were not, then I would give him an F for effort.
