Grasping at the ego or self-cherishment is the biggest "threat" to anything.

Babes. We get money and power and fame to get babes. It's a natural instinct to do whatever we can to attract women. It is the reason for everything men(straight) do. Well, sometimes I play with transformers, I don't think any woman would find that attractive.

Different beings, different instincts, different desires.
The desire to live longer and breed more will always override any religious decrees that might get in its way.
