Hold on . . . asking God . . .

. . . Okay, I'm back. Luckily, I was just in God's neighborhood, so I was able to get a quick answer.

This might seem strange -- I know it did to me -- but God works in mysterious ways. God said that he knew man would grow to learn many things and uncover some of nature's deepest secrets. To keep man from growing too arrogant, God decided to create dinosaur remains and fossils and layer them in the earth for us to find just when we're starting to get cocky. This would challange our faith in God by shifting faith to mankind. God had a mischievous smile when he told me this . . . I think he's very amused with himself.

I don't know if we can believe God's story or not . . . after all, he's admitting to intentionally deceiving us.

Now I'm really confused!!
:-)

The book of Job describes two dinosaurs. Job 40:15-Some bibles and study bibles will translate the word “behemoth” as “elephant” or “hippopotamus.” Others will put a note at the edge or bottom of the page, stating that behemoth was probably an elephant or a hippopotamus. Although an elephant or hippopotamus can eat grass (or lie in a covert of reeds and marsh), neither an elephant or a hippopotamus has a “tail like a cedar” (that is, a tail like a large, tapered tree trunk). In your kid’s dinosaur book you will find lots of animals that have “tails like a cedar.”
We would expect behemoth to be a large land animal whose bones are like beams of bronze and so forth, so whatever a behemoth is, it is large. A key phrase is “He is the first of the ways of God.” This phrase in the original Hebrew implied that behemoth was the biggest animal created. Although an elephant or a hippopotamus are big, they are less than one-tenth the size of a Brachiosaurus, the largest (complete) dinosaur ever discovered. Also, It is hard to read Job 41:18-21 without realizing the Bible is telling us that Leviathan breathes fire. That alone will eliminate almost every living animal. Yes, there is one animal like that in today’s world. It is called a bombardier beetle. This beetle is a native of Central America, and has a nozzle in its hind end that acts like a little flame thrower. It sprays a high-temperature jet of gas (fueled by hydroquinones and hydrogen peroxide with oxidative enzymes) for protection. Now, if a Central American beetle can do it, so could Leviathan. Some say this is reffering to crcs or alligators, but it's obvious that crocodiles and alligators are out of the picture on this one, don’t you agree?

Friend this is a subject I have talke about many time on this site, I will not go into the deep part of it again, But just to leave a thought in your mind. In Gen 9:1 God told Noah to REPLINISH the earth or to fill it up AGAIN, In Gen 1:28 God also told Adam to RELINISH the earth or to fill it up again, Now many christians thinks that Dinosaurs was up until the flood, That is completely wrong, They were detroyed in the great ICE age, Yes there was a prehistoric time & it was to test the animal kingdom & the angelic kingdom, The bible in 1st Cor 6:3 That the saints shall judge angels, That is those fallen angels, & even those angels that are chained into outer darkness waiting for the great white throne judegement. But Please see that those cave people was not a son of God & they did not have a soul, the same with the serpent in the garden.

You're correct, those who reminded us that the Christian bible if not a 'science book.' But you, or your fellows, insist that the bible is the 'word of god,' or 'inspired by god.' And if god created the dinosaurs, as surely he did if he created everything on Earth, wouldn't he have found a verse or two on creatures that thrived for millions a years--far longer than human beings have? And if god knows all, as Fundies insist he does, where in the bible does it say when cancer will be cured, and how to go about curing it? It advices us on curing leprosy, wrongly, but not a word about cancer, heart disease, strokes, automobiles, jet planes, rockets to the moon, cell phones, television, computers, the Internet, etc., etc., etc. And the future of our species? What of it? We're bound to go the way of all species, extinct, but when, when? You know, the topics, the themes, the mind-sets of the bible sound disastrously like human life at the onset of the First Millennium. I wonder why?

Once again this is another example of Christians bending there story to not sound crazy. Not doing a very good job if you ask me. The earth is around 5.5 BILLION years old not 6 thousand, but if you bring this up, its because to there "GOD" 1 day is actually 1000 years, or some BS. But the bible mentions behemoths and dragons, whoo hoo, why don't the just call them Jesus horses?

Dinosaurs were not mentioned often in the bible. Not because they did not exist, but because it didn't do any cause for Faith and what not with the bible.

Look at the behemoth, which I made along with you and which feed on grass like an ox. What strength he has in his loins, what power in the muscles of his belly! His tail sways like a cedar; the sinews of his thighs are close-knit. His bones are tubes of bronze, his limbs like rods of iron. He ranks first among the works of God..." JOB 40:15-19

What makes you think they're not mentioned in the Bible? I think you had better read a bit more.
If you recall Dragons are mentioned in the bible, if you look at Chinese dragons and skeletal remains of dinosaurs found there, you will find an uncanny similarity. Just because we call them Dinosaurs doesn't mean the ancients had to call them that.
Also there is reference to an animal in the old testament called the Leviathan. Leviathan: in Jewish mythology, is a primordial sea serpent.

Just fine.
It says all kind of animals so it is not a complete list of all animals that were on the Earth.

Bible doesn't say anything about going to the moon and we have done that a couple of times too.

There is enough information in the Bible for you to decide more could have been written but they leave it up to you to decide.

Have you ever seen a dinosaur? I didn't think so. Dinosaurs are a myth, put here by satan to waste the time of evil scientists by leading them to ponder such questions.

Well, I see the dinosaur bones. I know they were in this world. I see no evidence of much truth in the Bible, so IMO a better question might be: how does the Bible fit into this world?
