Paypal is in general instant, but sometimes there can be delays depending on method of payment,e,cheaques do take longer. You will get a notification of a payment made via email from paypal, but check in your paypal account first to make sure that payment is cleared, before you send any goods as there are a lot of scam artists out there that prey on people with bogus bids and mails claiming to have paid for the item.My advise is as soon as the payment is clear in paypal,Transfer the payment to your bank account and only when it is cleared and visble in your bank account then send the goods.Always air on the side of caution when buyers want to rush you for a high priced item..

Paypal takes about the same length as a debit card usage or other electronic transfers. I have had some go through in seconds, and others take 2 or 3 days. Depends on how fast the BANK processes the request. So it is different in every case. But usually, it is the same day the buyer submits the payment.

I have litterly just pressed the button to pay via paypal for an oil drum bbq. I called the store selling them first and asked if it would be quicker to pay over the phone as then they know it has been paid. He said to do it via paypal as he will see in his account straight away. At 2.15 i pressed the button and paid, he called me back 8 minutes later saying he could see the payment and was shipping it out to be before 3pm today. I would suggest he had insufficient funds on his card and it hasnt gone through. He wil have to contact his bank direct and get a reference for the payment if he insists it has been collected.

you will receive instant payment (provided it is not an e-cheque - which takes 13 working days) in your paypal account, which can be considered as another bank account just that to withdraw cash, you have to first transfer the money to your bank account, which takes 4-5 working days.
you can send the goods immediately after an instant payment as it is secured by Paypal providing you meet the conditions (see paypal).
if you receive an e-cheque, make sure you wait till it clears before you send the goods. you can then transfer money to your bank account 4-5 working days later.

It depends on what methed the buyer is using. if he has to tranfer funds from his bank account to his paypal account, it may take a day or two. But you should get a notice from paypal either way notifying you of the pending transaction. if you haven't gotten a notice then he may not have paid yet.

The money shows up straight away in your account unless he paid by e cheque. Log into your paypal account the money will show as there and cleared if he has paid you. Beware of scammers.
As soon as you have received money you are then free to withdraw it into your bank account which takes about 5 working days

It depends.
If he had the money in his paypal account then the transfer is instant - his account to yours.
BUT
If he doesn't have that amount of cash in his account it has to be transferred from his bank to paypal and then to you - this is called an e-check and generally takes around 7 days to clear.
It will show up in your paypal account as "uncleared"

payment is instant, but your bank, or the person's bank puts all online purchases as pending for maybe like 72hrs so if it was a fraud it can still be withheld and if that happens, the product comes back to the owner instead of the buyer
