I was hoping it ended with WW I I. I hate to break the news, but we have been given dominion over the earth. Why do you think the boss didn't even know when? It's up to us. Didn't it say the treasure was hidden in a field? It's all coming out now. If you do it unto the least of mine you do it unto me. That means you and I see him almost every day in the mirror. (See how the truth is almost poetic, ("Truth is beauty, beauty truth.")? We all are and have a piece of the puzzle and it's all our responsibility. Were we to sit on our hands and wait? Noo. Preach the healing word. Cure the insane like..., well, I won't mention any names. We must sell all we have, to me at a low price, of course, and go buy the field or else the end has not come yet and it won't be pleasant if recent history is any indication. Yeh, I think it's up to you, uh, and me. I'm doing my part. trans4mind .com Emotional Intelligence has some good info for a few pages. And a news bit at shiftreport .org Come join the end.

We hear stories about Armageddon... the problem with the stories is that we only get the christian's point of view... There is a spiritual war going on.. we are at the end of it now.. it's been building for centuries... The christian/catholic "god" rules them like slaves, uses brain washing, and forces them to fear anything but him... what this Armageddon came down to is nature vs religion.... nature had fallen behind for a time and the religions made themselves powerful in the minds of people on earth... but there is a time and place that nature will take over and that just occurred... the worse year of the battle was 2005... nature is recovering and comes out ahead... now all we got to do is get the religions off the planet... humans can chose it or in the style of natural selection and evolution it will be weaned off... either way nature won, and wins.

Matthew 24:36
"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son,but only the Father."
Matthew 24:43
"But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into."
1 Thessalonians 5:2
"for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night."
Matthew 16:1-4
1The Pharisees and Sadducees came to Jesus and tested him by asking him to show them a sign from heaven.
2He replied,"When evening comes, you say, 'It will be fair weather, for the sky is red,' 3and in the morning, 'Today it will be stormy, for the sky is red and overcast.' You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times. 4A wicked and adulterous generation looks for a miraculous sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah." Jesus then left them and went away.

There are prophecies that still need to
come to pass before the true Christ returns.
That "any day now" doctrine is nonsense.
The Word of God is clear, and even Christ himself gave a chronological list of events that will occur before the true Christ returns;
you will find it in Mark 13.
Your answer: the end is coming EXACTLY
3 1/2 days AFTER the two witnesses are killed in Jerusalem. Set your watch.

Rejoice in God's infinite love and in Jesus Eternally !
In Truth, there is no "end time". Only very spiritually childish humans still think that ungodly error.
"The earth abides FOREVER in God's loving care."
"Glory to God and Jesus, WORLD WITHOUT END." Eph 3:21
I am science trained also. Our solar system sun will continue to operate efficiently for about 67 billion more years. Yes, in Eternity that is a very short time ! So maybe we should all run wildly around in public, wearing front and back, wooden sign boards with bold letters, "REPENT ! DOOMSDAY SOON TO ALL !" (yawn)
Peace and progress,
Brother Dave, a Jesusonian Christian Truthist

OF JESUS and ABOUT JESUS and IN JESUS
Come and share !

Since all things come to an eventual end, you really should be more specific. It is due to a rather interesting concept called 'Entropy'. Look it up.

The end of the world as we know it is in progress as we speak. The world itself will never end, it will instead be re-created in the image of God, and of his Christ. The Christ lives with man today, and is preparing the world for the things which surely must come to pass.
This includes the Tribulation, which we are already into, and the destruction of all evil, and all those who deny Christ.

Depends.
Real threats to the human species:
1. Asteroid impact
2. Global climate changes (according to some)
3. Nuclear holocaust
Long-term threats to life on earth
1. Loss of earth's oceans to space (1 billion years)
2. The sun enters the red giant phase and scorches the earth (5 billion years)
3. Space travel to other stars or long-term bases on other planets are not yet possible. To survive it is necessary to create this technology.
