I was hoping it ended with WW I I. I hate to break the news, but we have been given dominion over the earth. Why do you think the boss didn't even know when? It's up to us. We hear stories about Armageddon... the problem with the stories is that we only get the christian's point of view... There is a spiritual war going on.. we are at the end of it now.. it's been building for centuries... The christian/catholic "god" rules them like slaves, uses brain washing, and forces them to fear anything but him... what this Armageddon came down to is nature vs religion.... nature had fallen behind for a time and the religions made themselves powerful in the minds of people on earth... but there is a time and place that nature will take over and that just occurred... the worse year of the battle was 2005... nature is recovering and comes out ahead... now all we got to do is get the religions off the planet... humans can chose it or in the style of natural selection and evolution it will be weaned off... either way nature won, and wins.

The Word of God is clear, and even Christ himself gave a chronological list of events that will occur before the true Christ returns;

I am science trained also. Our solar system sun will continue to operate efficiently for about 67 billion more years. Yes, in Eternity that is a very short time ! The end of the world as we know it is in progress as we speak. The world itself will never end, it will instead be re-created in the image of God, and of his Christ. The Christ lives with man today, and is preparing the world for the things which surely must come to pass.

This includes the Tribulation, which we are already into, and the destruction of all evil, and all those who deny Christ.
