Man exists.
God doesn't.

Is this another example of where believers think we're not supposed to respond "There is no God"?

Think about this. God---Good /// Devil---evil. If that is not evidence for something made up by man, then what is? We were not even very creative with the names! Man can create Good but Good can not create man, Man can create Evil but evil can not create man either. If it where so then we would ethier be Good or Evil. but we are not one or the other we are both at the same time. we are as everything else a balance. Man needs good AND evil. They don't need us. Not a real answer to your question but then again I don't think you where looking for one.

In order to be able to create something, one must exist first. We see nothing that supports the claim that there is a god and that he created the world. Since we've never experienced anything that convinced us that any god exists in the first place, we assume that there simply is no god and naturally non-existent things can't create anything.

Because man created god, and it exists only in the minds of those who buy it.

God doesn't exist. And humans can't create in the sense people claim god did. We can turn things into other things, but we can't create matter or energy from nothing.

Atheists don't believe in God. That is why we believe God "can't create".

You have to 'exist', in order to 'create'. Man exists... god does not.
