why does there have to be a point? maybe it's different for everyone. for me it's to live, love my family, have fun, be good to my fellow man, teach, learn, and enjoy.

the point to life is to live unfettered by baggage. to live free. religion is a form of slavery, no one sane would want to be a slave.... This here is life, those living for some unproven promise of heaven are like waiting to die and let this life pass by. A bird in the hand man is worth two in the bush... Having life now and today is the only life that has been proven to be a guarantee.

I am perfectly happy without any religion!! don't need any point! Just am enjoying every day, sometimes it sucks, sometimes it's ok, I'm sure God has nothing to do with that! When I see the religious fanatics no way I'd go for something like that!! Too many bad things already happened because of religion.
I just want to be happy, have a healthy family and enjoy my life, sure don't need God for that! My husband believes in God, good for him if that's the way he's happy

Humanism. Humanism is a philosophy of life inspired by humanity and guided by reason. It provides the basis for a fulfilling and ethical life without religion.
Humanists make sense of the world using reason, experience and shared human values.
Humanists see no convincing evidence for gods, the supernatural, or life after death.
Humanists believe that moral values are properly founded on human empathy and scientific understanding.
Humanists believe we must live this life on the basis that it is the only life we'll have -- that, therefore, we must make the most of it for ourselves, each other, and our world.
Humanist philosophies have arisen separately in many different cultures over many thousands of years. Whether or not they use the term humanism, tens of millions of Americans and hundreds of millions of people around the world agree with the humanist philosophy of living a happy and productive life based on reason and compassion.

The point of life is to exist and get through it the best one can.
My personal reason for living is helping, people and animals that cannot defend themselves, to a happy life.
Some people may need religion but I am happy as I am.
There is a point to life without believing in a god!

I think the point is not predefined for us. Its up to us to find our own meaning if we wish or not. For me I find myself here so I have an incredible opportunity to learn, explore, and enjoy as much as I can while I am alive. I have also determined things which give my life meaning for me such as raising children to be happy and to be assets to the next generation, to work in a field that helps us understand the world we live in and how to live in balance on it, friendships, family, to contribute to society and so forth. All these things give my particular life meaning but are not predefined nor applicable to all. Different people may find other sources of meaning.

To have maximal fun. Just because I'm an atheist, doesn't mean I don't want to be alive. I thoroughly enjoy life.
