I accidently put a lil too much oil in my 03 carolla should i drain it all out and redo it or can i just leave it till me next oil change

1/4 inch above the full line or one Qt to much? I recommend a brand new aluminum disposable roasting pan pull the drain plug and capture the oil and pour the right amount in. Over filled engines are sluggish and the crankshaft splashes the oil into foam. Engine seals that did not leak might start leaking. And even in extreme cases oil starts to blow into the air intake and gets burned.

Overfilling causes the oil to froth and stop lubrication in the engine, damages the seals and gaskets...don't redo it, drain the excess oil to the appropiate level.
