Yes. Because....
Romans 1:18-23 = " For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures."
If there is no God, then where and when did life come from? From a non-living thing? The beauty of nature? The universe? Where did the first atom come from? Could science explain it? The complex DNA structure of humans which could not be possibly caused by random chances? Could someone explain it? If no one could explain these, there should be a master designer, architect and a creator of this universe. :)

I take it you mean the christian god? I used to. I was brought up catholic and went to catholic school, then chose to become church of england. I went to church every sunday, did volunteer work there too in the bookshop and junior church for the children. I read the bible and prayed every day. But it didn't feel right. I don't like been told what to think and do. Why would an omnipotant being be so bothered about what we do? Why is seeking knowledge and asking questions frowned upon? christian leaders are afraid that if people question the church then they will finally remove the blinkers the church strap on. I am now a Pagan, I follow the path of Asatru, I worship the Viking deities. I am not saying my religion is the right one and all others lead to a devil as that is very arrogant. It is right for me. Pagans do not worship the devil as he is part of the christian faith and we do not acknowledge the existence of your god so we wouldn't acknowledge your devil either. Pagan faiths are nature based, many do not have religious writtings as our religions go back many thousands of years to a time when many cultures couldn't write. Although some of the greatest Ancient civilisations were Pagan, the Egyptians, Greeks and Romans. Highly learned in many areas such as architecture, astrology, medicine. What happened to these great civilisations? Christianity.

No one completely disbelieves. There is always the possibility that the One who created us exists. No one completely believes either. But if everyone is agnostic, then the words atheist and theist have no meaning.
While everyone has doubts, we live our lives either in reference to God or without reference to God. So I like the term God rejector instead of atheist and God seeker instead of believer.
I'm a God seeker because without God, we are just slaves to evolution which controls our minds through drugs in the brain. All those things we hold most honorable such as love, compassion, mercy and justice are only illusions - thoughts made pleasant by little shots of feel good drugs.

Yes, but I don't thing of him her or it as the boogie man like many organized religions.. I also trust no person to explain to me what or who god is. Tell me how to make a leaf first then I'll listen.
Im a "Honk if your Jesus", otherwise shut up, "Atheist God Willing", spiritual thinker. I tend believe that God (the creator) gave us the ability to make decisions and learn from our choices, so we grow spirtually. I tend to believe that we are reborn again and again spiritually and keep learning.
Dobbs, Right Wing Christians, Blow myself up for Allah, Molest some young boys in the name of GOD while making them feel guilty Priests, people quoting scripture as an answer to everything are all brainwashed idiots that should be castrated so their genes cant be passed to future generations.
But God, just look at the design of the human body, whether it evolved from ape like creatures, came out of primordal ooze, dropped from the sky or whatever... there has to be a creator who designed us.

no, i dont think that for as mighty as he may be, he would let all the things bad that happen, happen. I also wonder why he would allow someone like tammy fay baker, to die slowly of cancer, while she probably believed in him/her. I'm not saying that there isn't one, because if thats what you belive thats cool. I just dont like trusting something i've never seen.
