Miguel Cotto. This guy is tough and a thinking boxer too.
He can solve the style of this big-mouth Mayweather who always ducks, run and afraid to mix it up.
I'm waiting for this moment when somebody stop the track of Pretty Girl. . .err, Pretty Boy Mayweather.

I will give my oppions on the 4 top guys in the division plus Hatton, Margarito, Malinaggi, D. Hopkins, Berto.
Hatton Watch Gatti/Mayweather and switch out Gatti for Hatton. Not much if any of a shot of Hatton pulling a win out. Floyd by TKO or UD
Mosley: As a poster said before, Mosley has a hard time against boxers better than himself, even though he has seen battle and fought tough opposition he will still lose decisively.
Cintron: The biggest Power threat, I see him being possibly the only guy who can beat him because of his power, but even that won't stop me from picking Mayweather.
Cotto: Has a weak Jaw and can go down(anybody remember Torres-Cotto) He can has a lesser shot than Mosley
Williams: He is simply has a huge range and freakish height, I would still pick Mayweather but it would be a fight. Mayweather has dealt with tall fighters(De La Hoya and Corralles)
Margarito: has slow hands and would be perfect for Mayweathers counters
Malinaggi: Slick but not slick enough. He can run with Mayweather for 12 rounds though
D. Hopkins: Nephew of Bernard's, He is untested with a perfect record, he probably would be in for 12 rounds but not win 1.
Berto: Is not invincible and hasn't been tested on the World stage, has the same problems as D. Hopkins

First, as someone said earlier, I think the only thing that will end Floyd's (either career or unbeaten record) is if he takes a fight when he is too old to do what he does better than anyone in the sport, display all the characteristics that one would expect from a top BOXER, not puncher, not boxer/puncher, a pure BOXER.
Second, it's that skill that has already proven on four occassions to be Shane Mosely's Kryptonite. Take a look at Shane's face during the two fights with Forest, then look at the first fight with Winky, when he isn't the fastest or most stylish fighter in the ring at that moment he gets down on himself and you can see it on his face, he gives up.
FFT:: How come Shane didn't actively pursue a fight with Myorga after he whooped the guy who whooped him? Two things Brains but even more so FEAR. I believe he could have beaten Ricardo easily, but in Shane's mind all he thought of was the way he destroyed Vernon. He figured he'd get the same. When a fighter starts to think like that it almost always sounds an end to their career.
Against Floyd, Shane will have to be the one pursuing, the guy being tagged from a distance by 3 and 4 punch combos. Like I said, the recipe to Shane's downfall, and the questionable advice from dad isn't going to help (it didn't before and it won't then).
If I were PBF's advisor I'd tell him to fight Williams now while he is still unpolished. I agree the guy (like Tommy was) is a monster at Welter, the reach with the height, I like the guy because he has the same stigma about him that Hearns had. However, don't forget SRL stopped Tommy. I think if PBF has a chance of beating Williams he needs to do it soon. Once Williams starts scratching off successful title defenses his confidence is going to be an obstacle in and of it self. Right now PBF could take him to school, Margarito is, was and always will be a JOKE. I saw him in an interview openly try to duck Williams saying "he is too young and too new" "he doesn't rate a fight right now" basically saying even though he was the WBO #1 (mandatory) he still hadn't "paid his duse". The guy doing the interview said "Isn't that the same thing Floyd said about you, that you were not even a challenge for him" to which Margarito said nothing. Then he went off with his Manager to have Duck a'la Orange at Denny's. Margarito got his azz whooped by a guy with only one good hand. LOL. Adios Antonio.
Cotto vs PBF has (to me) a similar make-up that Meldrick and JCC had. The constant pursuit with the punishing body attack. Only problem is Cotto ain't no JULIO. So, even though it would be (should be) a good match-up, PBF totally out-BOXES Cotto for UD.
I'd be open to possible bets via Western Union on any fight outcome I mentioned. Oh and Shane doesn't beat Cotto, Cotto is going to punish Shane, outcome could be close but when you look at the two fighters, it will be obvious Shane got his clock cleaned.

Paul Williams has the best chance. He has the speed to cut the ring off from Floyd and hes go the power to hurt Floyd. Hes also got the height advantage. After Williams beat up on Margarito, a fighter Floyd has been ducking, he deserves a shot at the P4P #1 fighter. I know everyone is saying that the winner of Cotto v. Mosley is the next in line but i think Paul Williams has the best chance at stopping Mayweather.
First Pretty Boy Floyd needs to get passed The Hitman

Cotto has no shot against PBF and im a huge fan of Cotto. PBF just out classes him plain and simple, To good, to fast, defense, conditioning, amazingly accurate. Cotto has no shot.
Mosley has a shot because he has more handspeed and he throws combination after combination. Mosley can make it hard to PBF to let go any offense. Hes also naturally bigger. PBF does not throw combinations very often, If he does they are usually two punches and the more he throws the slower he gets. This gives mosley a major advantage. Also Mosley has been pushed and has fought some very big hard hitting fighters. So we know that PBF cant really hurt him either. Hes the only welterweight who can beat PBF. Im not saying mosley would beat PBF, but because of his toughness and handspeed, and willingness to trade shots, hes got the best shot. PBF has not really shown he is willing to trade (which he shouldnt) and if it the fight came down to who can get off more punches Mosley can win. Unlike Hoya, Mosley wont get tired midfight.
Stop bringing up Paq hes no where near big enough for pbf. And stop bringing up Winky, he just fought at light heavy. PBF couldnt even make weight at middleweight. PBF is WAY smaller then winky.

Tough to say. I don't think Hatton can. I think it will be close early, but Floyd dominates later. Only reason for a close scorecard is due to Floyd going easy in the first few rounds.
Sugar Shane with the expirence has a shot. He's got some speed and power. But I think Floyd pulls out a close one.
Cotto I'm not sure what he has yet. He might be the best bet, but I still have to go with Floyd on this. After Shane/Cotto maybe that will give me a better idea on what Cotto is about. Not sold on him just yet.

Here are my picks in order:
1. Williams: He's tall, mobile and has a high punch output. Not to mention that 82" reach. With PBF's low offensive output, Williams will be able to have 100 punch per round production. Williams has the tools to make an easy night of it. Does he have enough experience to do it?
2. Mosley: If DLH was able to get the judges to see a split decision against PBF.......Mosley certainly has a damn good chance of beating PBF. Mosley has more speed and is more mobile than DLH. Where DLH failed, Mosley has the tools and experience to succeed.
3. Cotto: Although Cotto has a relentless attack, his style is taylor made for a mobile counter puncher. I could see PBF frustrating Cotto. I don't see PBF giving Cotto the opportunity to brawl on the inside and attack to the body. In addition, they have similar height and reach. The edge in strength definitely goes to Cotto, but PBF can neutralize that with movement.
The bigger question is who does PBF think can beat him? Of the three fighters I mentioned, I bet PBF would fight Cotto 1st. Heck, I bet PBF thinks Cintron is more of a risk than Cotto due to his height and power.
Look at who PBF is fighting next......Hatton. This tells me that PBF thinks that Mosley, Williams, Cintron and Cotto are too hot to deal with right now. He knows that he doesn't have enough power to command respect from any of these guys. Too bad for PBF that 3 of them are younger than him. If Cotto beats Mosley, PBF will have no choice but to fight a younger and hungrier opponent.......for once he'll have to fight someone in their prime that can give him a real fight. That would be a 1st for PBF.
If PBF stays at welterweight, he will taste defeat.....and not due to a declining of skills, but because someone is going to hand his a** to him. There is definitely enough talent at 147 lbs to challenge a 5'8" counterpuncher with a low punch output and win.
PBF can either step up and prove he's the best...or step aside and let someone else do it.

Father Time, it never ceases to amaze me whenever PBF is brought up someone of questionable knowledge says the word "ducked". Take a look at Floyd's record and tell me who he ducked? BTW use of a fighter with the initials AM, would only further your plunge into the ranks of the lacking. Williams proved it.
As for Sugar Shane, even though I am a fan, I can't see him getting past his next opponent,. Miguel Cotto. Cotto is too strong for Mosely, I predict Shane gets a two fisted dose of Nitey Nite. PBF vs Cotto would be a great match-up, but again, the defensive skills of Mayweather would pull out a UD.
PBF will be a victim of age and time, if he's smart he'll walk away after Hatton. Too many greats have come back from "retirement" and only embarrassed themselves. How can anyone forget Macho Camacho's whoopin of Sugar Ray Leonard.

Definitly not Cotto because Cotto isn't a pure boxer. The only way to beat Floyd is to beat him at his own game. To beat a great boxer, you have to be a great boxer. Shane Mosley is the only guy that I think can beat Floyd because Shane can match Floyd punch for punch. Floyd has never in his career, fought somebody that can box as good as him. He always fights punchers, who he can easily out-box, or fighters who are average to good boxers, but not great. Shane is great, especially at the 147 level. At that weight, he has his speed, skill and power. He would beat Floyd on either points, or maybe even a late fight knockout.

It would be either Shane Mosley or Miguel Cotto, if it is going to be anyone at welterweight or smaller. Personally, I would give a slight edge to Mosley over Cotto. Anyone talks about Mosley being too old, but actually Mosley at his age still looks good. His speed and style would be a very interesting one to watch against Mayweather. That's not saying that Mosley would definitely win, but it would be a fight of interest to watch.
