I'd say.... that's some pretty dirty poker, sis.

I don't know. I mean, you can forgive. But I think that something like that will always be in the back of your mind, you know? It's going to eat and pick at you.

I think that's horrible.

Some relatives have screwed me over a few times, financially, and while I was able to forgive and still love them.... I had to distance myself for a long period of time.

Have you tried talking to this couple? Like, sitting down in a quiet place and having a discussion with them, about all of this?

I wish you all the best.

You can't pretend it never happened. If you value the relationship, or if you would like to value the relationship, you have to acknowledge and discuss the issue. Otherwise it will remain a poison between you, and may even disrupt your marriage.

Did they know what your bid was and deliberately outbid you? Baring them purposely sabotaging your bid, I think you have to forgive them. If they did sabotage you... well then, make them grovel.

That is pretty dirty, however, they are family. I just would not trust them with any personal info again. Tell your husband that you do not trust them and tell him that he needs to do the same.
