The kelp is a good idea but your body and hair also needs vitamins and minerals. Be sure to eat healthy food also.

I never heard about kelp for hair, But hair coming out is normal, we all lose between 30 and 70 hair a day depending the density of it the thicker the hair the more you lose.I really shouldn't say shed,as the hairs do grow back
the reason we shed them,is that the follicle only grows a hair for about 5 or 6 years and then goes into a dormant stage, after a rest it goes to work again and produces a new hair ,don't worry about it's normal

Sometimes hair does come out more than other times. You are always loosing hair, you only tend to notice it when it happens a lot. It is really normal, but if you are at all concerned see your GP.
It is hard to comprehend how much hair we have, you may think you are loosing a lot but its relative. You shed thousands of skin cells every day (yuk i know) but its healthy if you catch my meaning.
I find the best shampoo for a healthy head and scalp is tea-tree shampoos, although kelp is good, studies show it helps people with hair loss.
