While there are a few wedding websites (the knot and wedding channel being the two most popular) that can help you through the entire process, I would highly suggest hiring a wedding planning professional to guide you through everything. He/she can help as much or as little as you would like and are a valuable resources for vendor recommendations and budget help.

Go to your local card store they have the planners if not internet but it tells you step by step the planning process when to do what etc. very helpful but 1st. make your budget then book the ceremony/recep. site and go from there everything will fall into place.Good luck

theknot.com is a great website (free too) that can help you ever step of the way. they have a budget area, ideas, and brides with pics to help you. but picking the date so you can lock in ceremony and reception sites is the most important thing at this point.
