All branches of service give 30 days paid leave a year. However, there is the opportunity for more time off that does not count against that 30 days. There is also the opportunity to not be able to use that 30 days.

Everything in the Military depends on branch of service and more importantly your duty station.

Some tech in Connecticut will have a totally different time off situation than someone deployed in Iraq. They both however will be given the same 30 days paid leave. But one or the other may get more paid days off than the other, and one may get less paid days off, but they will carry over to the next year.

too many variables. leave is accrued at 2.5 days per month, and is normally taken in 2 week chunks, but it is possible to take it in much smaller increments.. a day here and there for instance. Weekends are counted as leave . BUT when you can take it is entirely dependent on the Mission.
