1921 was the third warmest year in US history, and indications are that this applied to Canada as well. I'd guess that maybe there was a short period of warmer than normal Arctic weather in the early 1920s leading to less cool Arctic winds blowing into North America.
It would be interesting to see if that Arctic warming trend extended into the hottest year in US history, 1934. (As a bit of trivia, 1936 was Minnesota's warmest year which, along with three more of the ten hottest US years makes you wonder if there wasn't some trend during the 30s also before all of the global cooling from 1940-1980.)

yes i've heard about that but check out in discovery channel how they pulled out a computer program to see the poles switching magnetism after about 200k millions years or so, that makes the whole global warming even more confucing...
because if its a natural desaster every 200K where does global warming stands?
(im not saying either one its real or not just giving another reference)

Honestly none of us have been alive long enough to say rather or no the heat wave will actualy cause Global Warming but, maybe we could ask the titanic. Its been in face to face combat with Ice.

I'm not too sure that you really understand global warming. Humans have been contrinuting to it since the onset of the industrial revolution, consequently the world was warming in the 1920's and long before.

You must be a Republican. You also probably don't live in Florida. I do. South Florida, to be exact. Try living through a couple of hurricanes and then see what you think.
