Surprising isn't it. Perhaps she was more olive-skinned as Christ could have been. Yes indeed - all those films with Biblical characters cast in the Caucasian mold.

Probably more of an olive skin color, but could have been a darker color. Whatever, it does not matter. Moses did lead the Israelites out of Egypt whether there is archaeological evidence or not. Archeology is not a proof or non-proof of these things. While it would be nice to have it, the absence of it does not prove it does not exist.

If I am not mistaken, she was a Middianite, which if I am not mistaken is basically Arab, a descendant of Ishmael I think.

Skin color doesn't matter to me though. I don't care if someone in scripture was black, white, or olive. But to close the issue, look at the images of the Egyptian Pharaohs. Some are black. Others are European. Others are Arab-like. And still others, in fact most it seems, are East Asians, like Chinese.

Yes ma'm she was a black woman. And when Moses sister Miriam gave him heck for marrying a black woman, God turned her white as snow with leprosy for not minding her own business.

A word to the wise!

Read about it in Numbers 12

Num 12:1 And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman.

She was dark skinned and so was Moses to. It makes no difference what color we are. Our God is color blind. He only sees our souls. If only 8 souls were saved from the flood 1Pet.3:20 what color was their skin? Dos it make any differance anyway.

She was a Midianite... she probably looked like other Midianites. People in that region of Africa don't have black skin, but it's dark.
