Grenada and Panama are two powerful military actions without the assistance of U.S. allies. The NATO action against Kosovo was highlighted by aerial bombing. Ninety percent of those bombing missions were carried out by aircraft from the U.S., Canada and Great Britain. So, even when we do need allies from the "vaunted" NATO force, it seems only the English-speaking member states respond.

No country, no matter how strong got a long life expectancy by having no allies. Just as a giant can be brought down by a horde of fire ants, the same goes for a powerful country being brought down by an enemy alliance that is made of weaker nations that work towards that strong nation's defeat.

we have the most powerful military force int he world, so yes we do. and our location is very advantageous to us since we're separated by 2 bodies of water between our enemies (if we had any). And you need to consider the vice versa scenario, do our allies have a powerful military force without us?

Considering the ramping up of technology, and the amount of money we spend on weapons technology, I would say that if the crap hit the fan, America could easily stand on it's own.
You can't even imagine the kind of technology that is behind the scenes, not even in use yet, and probably makes up most of the UFO sightings.

No foreign enemy soldier has step foot on American soil in the past 200+ years so yeah I'd say we have a hell of a military force.

USA won`t realize big military action without allies, or at least without their support. Personaly, i don`t remember any big operation where US would be without allies.

Yes we do the only reason we have allies is to spread out the cost of war. We save money and kill just as many for less.

Yes. Our strongest allies have pretty weak armies. We could take on most of the world at once using conventional arms.
