You can get DNA testing done for that. I hope you realize how serious this is and learn to respect yourself.

Dear Terri,

Do you really want to find out who the biological father is? Are each of these four men willing to take a blood tests? Do they all know of your situation? And they may be one out of four chances that they are to become a father? If you are able to establish paternity do you think or know for certain he will want to take part in this child's life? Once you establish the paternity then you open the window to all kinds of legal problems. Are you prepared to take all this on? What do you hope to gain by knowing who the true father is? Why did it not concern you at the moment of conception? And the best is: Would if the one who fathered your child just happened to be the one you like the least? And you will have to endure this person in your life for years to come should he decide he to wants to be an active part in this child's life. Which of course he will have the legal right to do.
I think you have some serious things to think over. It's not required by law to put the father's name on the birth certificate if you are uncertain. You can just say unknown. You will have to get a court order from a judge that will subpoena them to take a blood test. It is not going to be so simple getting them to do this..

Do you really care who the father is or are you looking for someone to help with child support? Also, maybe the one that isn't tested positive might just be interested in sticking around to help raise the child as his own. Have you talked to any of them about this situation?

Good luck dear,

Marseille

For NAMING purposes, you will simplify your life and the baby's by giving the child your last name.

For CHILD SUPPORT purposes, call your local Social / Human Services office. Ask for the Child Support division. They will instruct you.

When the "father" is a violent person, you'd rather NOT have to deal with for the next 18 years, someone you would never leave a child with, for safety's sake, such as gangs...........
Over the next 18 years you are going to need his financial help, and the child is going to benefit from the love and influence of a father.
