Did you hear about the guy who ate nothing but Mcdonalds for a month? Three meals a day, and he had to try everything on the menu. This was before they added the salads and other better food. He was about 30, and gained 32 pounds in that month. But the average teen-age boy could eat a Big Mac and fries avery day and not gain weight. Not so much for smaller women or older men. :)

As harsh as we can possibly be on the general public, I can say from my experiences that most people I know have absolutely no education or basic knowledge of nutrition, health or excercise. They do not even know what their bodies are made of, what their bodies need or how to take care of themselves. I would not expect them to know how bad fast food is.
Besides me, most of my friends have no clue what is what or even my family for that matter. To a practical, normal working individual fast food is simply the quickest and cheapest thing they can get outside during their busy lives. They may know that it is unhealthy but they have no idea HOW unhealthy or WHY.
Need I say our education system messed up in this area as well?

Victim mentality and an abundance of lawyers. A huge cultural issue. Be sure not to vote for victim-mentality promoters, like John Edwards. It'll only get worse.

who says this? The people who eat fast food knows it's bad, they are just hoping for some quick money from a frivolous lawsuit.

Because like Jack Nicholson said; "You (people) can't handle the truth!" And the truth IS- it's easier to blame the FOOD for making them fat- than the idiot who's stuffing his face with it- 24/7. :)

well yeah there all retarded... especially the one who tried to sue McDonald's for that reason. since she had no proof McDonald's wasn't found guilty and so then they made a law saying that nobody can sue a fast food restaurant for believing that it makes you fat

They know. Its just hard for them to accept reality and take responsibility for their own actions. they are in the same boat as people who sue tobacco companies, alcohol companies and gun companies as far as I'm concerned.
