You come in here laughing, good for you I hope you got your facts as you wish to enjoy them. I love Jesus and the relationship I have with him is not fake, it's real. He will give you someday a taste of his love, to help you understand what you don't. At the moment you are shut down for the truth, hope someday you will have an open mind to want to understand, to help you motivate yourself to seek the truth to get answers you deserve to know, how that will be possible, is to receive Jesus as your personal savior, praying to him, and seeking him by going straight into his word, by opening the Holy Bible to get Christ to breath into you to help you grow to be renewed from your carnal mind to a more Christ like mind. In this lifetime man-kind will be a disappointment. Once you have established a relationship with Christ, you wont be deceived. You will understand what you couldn't before, because you are not blind anymore.

It’s a known misinterpretation. It wasn’t the “Red Sea” it was the “Reed Sea” which dried up when the Sueze Canal was built. The “Reed Sea” is a few hundred miles north of the “Red Sea” and is the place where one would cross over when traveling from Egypt to Mount Sinai. This “Reed Sea” is the mouth of the water system that connected the Mediterranean to the Red Sea at the Mediterranean side. It formed a shallow delta as such bodies of water do and was briny and subject to tides. Moses was a refugee from Egypt for some years and knew the natural of the area far better than the Egyptians. Further Moses used the traditions of the Egyptians for long forced marches that the Hebrews were not familiar with. One of those traditions was to carry a platform that had a bon fire on it to lead the Army. Moses did the same creating the legendary pillar of fire by night and pillar of smoke by day. This was a strategic ploy by Moses. Because the Egyptian army could see his bon fire they were sure they knew where he was going. That’s why Moses sent the fire back toward the Egyptian army to confuse the Egyptians. The Egyptians thought Moses turned around so they set up to meet the Hebrews. This bought Moses time to wait for the tide to go out and as the scriptures say a strong east wind came. That wind blows every year similar to the Californian Santa Anna winds. Moses knew that. Leaving the Bon fire behind until the last the Hebrews crossed the “Reed Sea” in the night. By morning when the Egyptians saw the Hebrews were gone the tide had begun to come back in. Scriptures say the wheels of their chariots were locked up. This is what happens when tides come in and wheels get stuck in the mud. Being as far as three miles from shore with your chariots stuck in the mud makes for a bad day. Cecil B Demille sure got people starry eyed about this story. The Jews have known this for centuries. Anyway other military people have used or been used by this natural feature since then. One was a British commander that when outnumbered slipped across the Reed Sea after looking in his Bible for inspiration a few nights before but his name slips my mind and I don’t feel like looking it up.
May Gods Love illuminate you that you aren’t in darkness.

alexander the great and bonaparte both lived a couple of thousand years after moses. it is not possible for any of us to know how deep that water was during moses' day, but the bible very clearly says that the winds blew all night long to seperate the water, so that is nothing new. (exodus 14:21-22) the reall miracle is that the armies of pharaoh where held back by the pillar of fire and the cloud of God while the people of israel went across the dry land, and then that they armies of pharaoh were drowned in the water as it returned to it's normal place when they tried to pursue the people of israel across that land bridge in the red sea. the miracle was not so much in the water parting but in the destruction of the mighty armies of pharaoh who were chasing the people of israel.

What I heard was, at the exact moment the red sea parted, there was a volcano erupting in the sea somewhere near the Greek islands, and when that happens it sucks in the water and blows it out. So, moses just had impeccable timing and crossed just as the sea was being sucked into the under water volcano.

WELL they are nearly right, the translation of YAM SUPH, is actually ' the sea of reeds' , not reed sea or red sea, this was an area of danger and the miracle of parting it was that they found a path through it.

As mentioned it was not the red sea until the septuagent came along, in the original hebrew it is in fact the reed sea. The parting of the reed sea if you do a little research is just a wee bit unimpressive.

No, it was deeper than that.
Also, most people don't realize that the Bible says that it took all night for the sea to part...the movie The Ten Commandments corrupted a lot of imaginations lol...good movie though.
